     While I haven’t talked to any active duty military for a while, the military has been used for social engineering for some time now. I am not sure if 1950 is a good starting date or not.
     MacArthur was in command of the the Korean ‘Conflict’ and he had what turned out to be the mistaken idea that he was to win. Truman fired him. I guess MacArthur didn’t get the memo. MacArthur used Operation Killer for name for the drive to push the ChiCom’s back across the Yalu.

       Truman did not like the operational name, too warlike.

       At the end of WWII, Chesty Puller was tasked with presenting a report on the value of dogs during war. His report stated that Dobermans were just as likely to bite the handler as the enemy and recommended they not be used. He submits his report to the Pentagon.
       a couple weeks later the president of the American Doberman Society arrives at Puller’s office, report in hand, demanding he include Dobermans in his list of war dogs. He didn’t and sent a memo to the Pentagon, you have my report, change if you want, but I will not change anything.
       I decided to resist my initial thought for the title of the woman in charge of the Doberman society. Considering the topic is dogs.
