    MARCH 19, 202

The Homeland Security agency charged with interdicting illegal drugs and other contraband in U.S.-bound mail only inspects a small percentage of parcels—including high-risk packages arriving from China—at the facility that receives most of the nation’s international post. This opens the path for imports of opioids and other illegal items mailed from overseas through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), according to a distressing federal audit released this month.

70 years ago, I went to a small private school a couple of miles north of New Hope, PA. It was next door to a tulip plantation that sold plants and bulbs. IIRC, it was named Lentboden. Every Spring it was glorious!

Morning everyone. Stella, love the picture. This was almost exactly the view we had in early spring at the cabin. Things around here are greening up and looking pretty now too. My husband mowed the yard for the first time last night.

Morning, Menagerie! I thought of you when I chose this picture.

Spring is beginning here. I can see things coming back to life, and my forsythia’s buds are fattening up. My neighbor’s forsythia (I can see it from my window) just started blooming!

I miss my forsythia. We had yellow bushes up at the top of the hill and a huge pink one we never trimmed back next to a Boulder going up the driveway. I’ll try to find that picture and post it.

Thank you again for sharing the one up top, I love it.

Czar had promised to get dogwoods Andrew bud trees to plant along the edge of the woods. They are lovely understory-edge trees.

Today is National PUPPY DAY! 🙂
    Whether big or small

with big ears and head or just a big head

helping the the disabled or guarding our homes

they have us at that 1st glance

    https://www.express DOT co DOT uk/news/nature/964549/Cute-puppy-pictures-science-why-adorable-puppies
“Cute puppy pictures: The science behind why little puppies are adorable”
“CUTE little puppies are exceptionally adorable and there is hardly any debating the fact but a team of researchers have now broken down the science behind our love for the chirpy canine fur-balls. Domesticated dogs truly are man’s best friend and Dr Clive Wynne, a professor of psychology at Arizona State University, is certain there is a deeply-rooted psychological reason for that. According to the expert, there is a “peak” age for doggy cuteness when humans find the little critters most charming.
Dr Wyrne’s study, titled Dog Pups’ Attractiveness to Humans Peaks at Weaning Age, found puppers are most adorable when they are between six and eight weeks old. At this age puppies are typically weaned from their mothers which has led the psychologist and his study co-authors to speculate puppies are most cute when they most need our tender loving care.”

Not that I need to remind the wonderful people here, but it’s always good to say:
Remember, A dog may be a part of your world, but you are your dog’s whole world.

Great pics and laughs I so much appreciate here every day! Thank you all.
    Back to work.
Have a great day everyone! 😉

Mornin’ All. I’m still feeling so tired today. Last night I felt weird and took my temp and it was 99.8 which is really high for me. At 2:00 AM I got up and took it again and it was 100.2. So, I am just taking it easy today. Hope all of you are healthy and warm. But, not too warm.

    • Take care of yourself mom! Perhaps keep hydrated with water, take vitamin c* and if you have them the Zicam cold remedy nasal spray – works really great on me and good on DH. The Zicam medicated fruit drops (they are homeopathic) also help.

      * I take vitamin c with quercetin. Just be careful if you take too much vitamin c you’ll get the runs. I take it daily, but if I feel sick and increase the dose, at the next meal/snack I take probiotics to counteract the vitamin c. I take probiotics at night also.

Let us know how you are doing.

I take Vit. C every day. I don’t believe this is a cold because I don’t have a runny nose. There have been times in the past where I have run a fever and we never did know what caused it. But, I will drink lots of liquids, etc. Can’t hurt.

I hope you feel better soon. Don’t hesitate to get medical care if you feel worse. I know you are like me and would prefer not to go to the hospital or doctor.

Hi, aus! Hope you feel better as the day goes on. If you get a third symptom such as feeling winded or a headache comes on, then absolutely go to the doctor. Better safe than sorry.

I checked today. My doctor doesn’t see sick people. LOL I called Urgent Care and they didn’t even answer the phone. I called my insurance and they called Urgent Care and found out they are full up. So she told me to go to the Emer. Room at the hospital. I have no intention of going and sitting in the waiting room, or rather my car, for 4 to 6 hours. I will call an ambulance if I get too bad. Right now I am just uncomfortable.

The Sovereign Crime of Industrial Scale Vote Fraud
    By Jay Valentine

“Recently our team was invited to meet with 2020 election fraud investigators in downtown Austin. Our team, with some of the top criminal profiling talent in the country, was happy to attend. At the last minute, our new pals cancelled their meeting.

“Since we changed our schedules and lost those days, we decided to hold our own confab.

“Our team members were the lead builders of one of the world’s most sophisticated criminal profiling systems in use by law enforcement today.”

Exclusive: Border Agent Gives Inside Account of Overcrowded Facilities
    BY CHARLOTTE CUTHBERTSON – March 23, 2021

The family-unit holding cells smell like urine and vomit. Fights break out in the unaccompanied-minor cells. Scabies, lice, the flu, and COVID-19 run rampant.

“We’re dealing with a different culture who’s not afraid to send all their kids under the age of five, knowing they’re going to get raped, knowing they’re going to get killed,” Carlos said. “You talk to the adults or the teenagers and they’ll tell you, ‘They raped three or four girls, and they kicked them off the trains.’ They’re going to die.”
