Another day…closer to warmer! 🤗 This has truly been a monster of a winter storm(s). So many people suffering its effects! I’m especially praying for those without heat! 🙏 For here, no work this week at all…snow covered roads and no gas for businesses…lots of complications to bridge to get things back to normal. Take care guys…be safe and warm!

I know, I know…you guys can’t wait for me to go back to work lol! 😉

This video by Michael Matt at the Remnant TV is very easy to listen to. It’s over 30 mins. but exceptionally good. Kinda reminds me of our Rush! I know no one can replace Rush, but we do need others to rise up and try to fill his shoes. I’m putting Michael on my radar…to see where he will go in his endeavor to talk truth!

      What fun!
He’s good, but can he do that on hockey skates? (no blade teeth front and back for stopping)
Or figure skates? (much thinner blade, blade front teeth to trip you up, blade pointed at the back for injuries)

Sure hope they had a burn barrel there for warmth.
      Still praying for all Texans

Mornin’ Everyone. Hope you all were able to keep warm overnight. That situation in Texas is awful. I wonder how many other states have a problem like that.

I took Loki to the vet yesterday because I thought they needed to do the heart worm test again. Turns out that isn’t necessary until July. But, she needed to be seen because she is chewing a spot near her tail. I have been putting flea stuff on her. Evidently it isn’t working. I am thinking about changing to Trifexus which worked really well for Foxy. But, then she developed mouth cancer. She never had a problem with fleas, though. Of course, they said the Trifexus didn’t cause the cancer.

“The Power’s Back On”: From Minnesota to Texas’s Biggest Energy Emergency Ever
Written by Mitchell Rolling on February 17, 2021

I never imagined a day in 2021 would top anything I encountered in the year before. Unfortunately, after experiencing only five hours of electricity through 30-plus hours of freezing temperatures in Texas from Monday to Tuesday, I stand corrected.

What the Dems’ Prospects Are Without Donald Trump
Can the Republicans show some steel and fend off Democrat tyranny?
Wed., Feb. 17, 2021 by Bruce Thornton

Like last year’s Congress, the new 116th failed ignominiously to get Donald Trump convicted of their impeachment charge. Some federal court investigations into Trump’s businesses are still ongoing, but it’s likely, though not certain, that Trump will become less and less useful for distracting voters from the Democrats’ sharp turn to the left both on domestic and foreign policy.

If the Dems fail to hold on to power as they did in 2016, history will have a lot of suspects to investigate in order to explain their inability to attract voters without the bogey of Donald Trump and a fortuitous pandemic. But if they succeed, then we will have turned a dangerous corner on the road to dismantling the Constitution’s structure of ordered liberty and unalienable rights.

I heard this earlier today, but wanted to get confirmation. A number of people on the ERCOT (TX power grid operator) board don’t even live in TX. Not sure about this, but I have seen where this is one of those deals where a lot of back-scratching goes on to get on the board, and the people of Texas don’t have much of a say in the matter. Methinks that may change, rather quickly.

They suddenly took over, somehow, from Texas Electric before we moved from Odessa. We had no idea it was coming – but suddenly we had to have a new “smartmeter” on the house and our bills skyrocketed. Of course when the oilfield is doing well Odessa/Midland will ravish you of every nickel they think you may have but these bills were unreal. $400+ a month on an all electric house – I keed you not, and this was way before we moved.

An article that Rush penned for The Heritage Foundation back in 1994. Some point very prescient, and some others that he did not yet see the massive liberal change coming as it now exists. He missed the rocket-like trajectory that things took on in the last couple years. But nonetheless a great article. Will take a few minutes.
