    I was looking forward to this being over today. But, somebody had the great idea to call witnesses. Who knows how long this will last?

      And we know who is behind the fortress of the gates of hell, a hell that Jesus Christ said would never prevail against His Church.

      In the meantime, we have to stand and stay strong, pray and hold fast to God’s Truth, Wisdom and Power.

    The dems got out over their skis is what I’m hearing and reading. Not the first time and certainly not the last.

    I’m glad President Trump’s attorneys are showing some anger and outrage. A lot of us.

    It would be nice if he House managers would actually follow the law and prosecute a case based on the purported indictment or whatever the term for the charge is in this farce.

    And now, for something completely different –

    Robert Barnes is a well-known Constitutional attorney who currently has a case in front of SCOTUS, plus the Rittenhouse case (Kenosha, iirc).

    Anyways, Barnes was on with, of all people, Alex Jones yesterday for a half hour vid.
    Jones, one of the Interruptus clan, is his usual moronic self.

    But Jones does allow Barnes to talk at length (iow, not as bad as Hannity Interruptus), especially at the beginning, about the behind the scenes machinations of Team Trump, including what Barnes believes is the main failure of Pres Trump, which is giving way to the political and law operatives, believing they are not out to take the Prez down.

    If interested, and if able to stomach Jones, Robert Barnes gives much insight. For me, anyways.

    Barnes also said this Shampeachment was not so much aimed at Our President, but aimed directly at us.
    They are trying to establish precedent, to be used against us later.
    Not to mention, it is an indictment and impeachment of the Senate itself.

      Lucille, how did Lyndsey Graham know about Pelosi knowing of impending trouble occurring on 6 Jan 2021? Lyndsey Graham is not on the Gang of 8 and would have no reason to have been informed.

    For years after moving from Washington state I’ve remained on the email list for Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler. Earlier I read of the part she played in the House impeachment hoax vote, and this morning the part she was willing to play in today’s fakery. I sent her a note that I was glad NOT to be in her district any longer but if I still lived in Vancouver, I’d definitely vote against her…also that she should be ashamed of herself for siding with the socialists who aim to destroy America.

    Apparently Kevin McCarthy told Beutler that President Trump didn’t care that there was rioting at the Capitol when he called the President to ask him for help in quelling the riot. She was going to use this hearsay in the proceedings today if the Dems hadn’t chickened out about witness testimony.

    Anyway, Herrera Beutler had better be primaried. And I told her so. Self-righteous little traitor!
