My cat comes when she is called (usually) and knows basic commands which she will obey (when she feels like it.)

Ohhh! The young deer looks like it’s trying to make friends, but it’s better off trotting back into the woods! 😉 With an attack cat like that – do you still need a guard dog? – well heck ya! You always need a dog! 🙂

When will the cat realize it REALLY does not need that deer. Our dogs chase the deer but neither dog nor deer puts any effort into it, and I’ve never seen one get caught.

Oh, she’s such a proper lady, Stevie! Upon seeing this photo I was instantly reminded of a book my mother read to me when I was around 3 about a cat named Miss Sniff. Wondering if I remembered correctly, I tapped the name into the search engine and up popped a whole page of Miss Sniff illustrations. I’m pretty sure this is the book…

Such a pretty kitty up top – I’m thinking maybe a Maine Coon cat or that similar looking Norwegian cat? Maine Coon cats are beautiful. You used to see a lot more of them around New England 40-50 years ago.
