One of my favorites, who knew a grain bin was so acoustically pleasing?

I understand how much fun that was. During my high school years at a Lutheran Academy, our a cappella choir was the best thing of all – – – and we just loved getting to sing in places that played the sounds around and around and around.

One year, our ten day tour took us through western North Dakota and Montana. We were in the state capitol building in Bismarck, lined ourselves up in ranks on a high flight of stairs and sang – sound bouncing off all the marble walls.

Some of the rural church were even pretty fantastic, but there’s nothing like stone–or a grain bin! What fun this farmer and his mom had!
