    The two talking cats

Miss Bee was walking out of the room when I started to play this. She stopped, looked around, and now she’s meowing at me. LOL!

  3. After my week-long cooking binge of pork roast, olive oil garlic roasted potatoes, raspberry turnovers, brownies, ice cream, home made devil dogs, bacon maple french toast, and the bacon lasagna for New Year’s i made, here are Caturday’s pics:

Sigh….how long to get rid of a 1 week binge????

Funny pics. In answer to your question: six months! LOL!

Miss Bee is a big Calico cat to begin with. I’ve tried restricting her diet and she has lost weight. But now her furry stomach hangs down and she looks really odd.

She’s such a peculiar girl; very smart and will actually stop doing something if I say “no” to her activity. But she’s also a biter, and doesn’t get along with Gee most of the time. Her previous owner threw her out of his apartment when she fought with his male cat, which is a really awful thing for him to do since he had her declawed as a kitten.

I didn’t even know she had an owner until I happened by his apartment unit one day and saw him putting food out for her…this, after my feeding her for weeks thinking someone had moved out of the complex and abandoned her. Anyway, I convinced him to give me custody of her. I’m not sure how old she is, perhaps 13. He said she was three when I took custody around 2011, but who knows?

At the time I took her in, I still had my other cat, Roberto. She got along with him fine for some reason. When he passed, I took in Mr. Gee who was quite feral and had been coming up on my patio to eat the dry food I always left out for the strays.

      • You’re so good Lucille. We took in stray dogs, but my Mom was, and I am, very allergic to cats, so I am unfamiliar with cat peculiarities. It’s so hard to figure out why some animals do or don’t get along. I’m guessing you have provided a more serene, loving home for them both than the person who threw her out. Animals know good people đŸ˜‰
