    • It is both sad and interesting how over the past few decades and especially the past few years Truth has lost all it’s value to many people.

Mornin’ all. It is overcast and misty here today. Not very cold. In fact, I think it is in the 60’s. My friend and I went to a place for lunch yesterday, where they have several little shops of different kinds and a nice restaurant. They had signs up that you needed to wear a mask. We didn’t. We got a few stares but mostly that was all. One woman was actually staring at us with a disgusted look in her eyes for a long time. So I looked her in the eye and smiled. That really makes people like that mad. We went into one of the little shops and finally a man came over to us with a box of new masks and offered us one. I just told my friend that I would wait outside. My friend said somebody must have complained because he came straight toward us with the masks. Anyway, there were a lot of people out yesterday at this place, I mean a LOT.

Here is a painting, maybe not too fancy, but I really like it. It’s the Virgin Mary showing the baby Jesus to children that appear somewhat disheveled and poor, but they very much want to be near baby Jesus. by Cicely Mary Barker:

Good news: my arm is healing, and the biopsy results were the tumor was benign! Thank You God! ๐Ÿ™‚ The surgeon could not get it all out so I have an increased chance of it growing back, but it’s benign. ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. So for some fun here are some interesting cakes for New Years:
Chocolate with sparklers (they make them just for food use)

For those who don’t want real fireworks here’s a nice looking cake that’s actually easy to decorate. I left the 2015 because I’m not able to do artsy stuff yet.

So to go with these sparkly, starry cakes we have Hedy Lamarr modeling a lovely outfit you could throw together for tomorrow night:

  7. Christmas is not over until Epiphany in my book, and this was just so cute, I had to add it in:

As far as worrying about consumption of alcohol and fats, here’s some advice just for the holiday season of course ๐Ÿ˜‰ :

Our dear President’s proclamation with the underlying theme of religious liberty and its preservation…

Proclamation on 850th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket
    Issued on: December 28, 2020

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 29, 2020, as the 850th anniversary of the martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket. I invite the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches and customary places of meeting with appropriate ceremonies in commemoration of the life and legacy of Thomas Becket.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-eighth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fifth.

Read this remarkable proclamation in its entirety at

    Lord, have mercy upon America,
    keep her safe,
defeat her enemies both foreign and domestic.
    In the name of Jesus,
    Amen! (So be it!)

I have a new iPad. After set up by Czarโ€™s youngest son, it is pretty much the same as the old one, except I cannot Log In to Stellaโ€™s. So I cannot โ€œlikeโ€ anything. I got here after several tries. Will keep after it, maybe tomorrow.
