Bill Gertz: Leaked Database Suggests Widespread CCP Infiltration; China Silences Hong Kong Activists
Premiered Dec 19, 2020 – Jan Jekielek – American Thought Leaders – The Epoch Times

A leaked database of 2 million Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members suggests widespread CCP infiltration into the upper echelons of government and the private sector. The Big Four auditors collectively employ over 2000 Chinese Communist Party members, including at least one partner at each firm, according to the Telegraph. This could mean the Chinese Communist Party has access to some of the inner workings of virtually every major U.S. firm.

In this episode, we sit down with China analyst Bill Gertz, a national security correspondent for The Washington Times and author of “Deceiving the Sky.” We discuss the leaked database, recent revelations of a suspected CCP spy, Fang Fang, developing close ties with prominent U.S. politicians, and Hong Kong authorities targetting pro-democracy media mogul Jimmy Lai with the National Security Law.

Listened to this the day it came out. Bill Gertz is one of the best, and he did not disappoint in this interview.

Russia, then the Soviet Union, will spend 20 years to set up a spy ring.
The ChiComs will spend 50 years to set up a spy ring.

That is something I remember from decades ago and I have no idea who stated that and if it is even true.

Mornin’ everyone. Stella, now I am not getting notifications of the General Discussion for some reason. I checked my WP acct and it looks fine. So, I can’t imagine what the problem is. I think this is a new one. 🙄 Looks like another week/more news.

Good afternoon, aus! How’s the Florida weather? We’re trying to be rainy but with a balmy 40 degrees. I’ve spent my morning listening to lots of Christmas music, both jazzy and religious, plus a new concert from Slovenia with my boys Luka Sulic and Evgeny Genchev, who being fine musicians are also not bad on the eyes…

      MUSIC. ACTUALLY (Special Concert)

I wonder if Slovenia could use a few senior citizen American refugees. I’m sure it’s a freer country than the U.S. would be should the absolute worst happen and Biden-Harris gets to be President.

Clear blue sky, 70* in the shade, probably 90’s on the patio in the sun, with a perfectly clear sky. We had storms last night and got 3 1/2 in. of rain. No snow in the forecast.

No snow! LOL! Snow in your area would be about as rare as in downtown Los Angeles. There was snow in L.A. when I was in 1st grade and it spread out to San Bernardino County, too.

I had the 3-day German measles and missed entirely going outside to play in the white stuff. So Mom made a little snowman and brought him into the darkened room where I also got to have 7UP and vanilla honey ice cream which was considered OK in those days as a “treatment” for all kinds of throat ailments, which helped psychologically rather than curatively, I’m sure. Almost made being sick worth it.

It snowed here when I was in the 6th grade, and maybe once since then. They actually let us out of class to go out in the snow………..and, no, not in snow gear (ha ha nobody had any anyway) because it was just flakes here and there that melted when it got within a couple of feet of the ground. It was still exciting. Oh, and lasted about 10 min I think.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Bright and sunny, if a touch cold on my bare feet when I stepped outside with the dog. Thinking of going to the Home Depot to buy a firepit for the back yard, to burn the dead maple tree Czar cut down. We could make smores and enjoy the warmth in the coming cold days. I thought it would be nice to buy a present for the house, since we don’t exchange presents anymore.

Good day to you, WeeWeed! There are quite a lot of people I’d like to see socially distanced…yeah, like to GITMO!

This fat cat millionaire for one, who will get to live off the government teat for the rest of his life with all those pensions. Is this level of office eligible for every pension offered for the “work” they did over the years, or do they have to choose which ones they will accept while the people are plunged into a Maduro-type socialist hellhole? Wouldn’t you just love to slap his face! OK, Lord, do I have to confess that as a sin?

Barr Says He Will Not Appoint Special Counsel to Investigate Election or Hunter Biden
By Kristinn Taylor – Published December 21, 2020 at 10:56am

Outgoing Attorney General William Barr said on Monday he will not be appointing a special counsel to investigate the presidential election or Hunter Biden. Barr made the statements during a press conference at the Justice Department to announce the filing of charges against Abu Agila Muhammad Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi in the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Mas’ud is reportedly being held by the Libyan government.

Wow, Stella. Regarding the photo for the General Discussion post, this is precisely my new nativity scene! The only figures I don’t have are the four free-standing animals. Wonder how I get those… I love this set, it is very detailed and high quality. I bought it from The Catholic Company (dot com) last year. I love that the Christ Child can be placed either in the manger or in Mary’s arms. And it comes with 3 separate small chests, one each containing real frankincense, myrrh, and gold. It really is a beautiful set.

Hey Menage! Yes, that’s it! Unfortunately is currently out of stock. If I order now, perhaps will arrive in time for Christmas 2021… Amuses me that the camels are woefully small compared to the human figures. If the kings sat on those two, the camels would never stand up.

When the set arrived last year, I cleverly bought a can of white Play Doh and fashioned a “cloud” on top of the stable for the angel to stand on. Pressed the base of the angel into the Play Doh for a secure platform so the “cloud” oozed up a bit around the base for a close fit. Worked a treat! This year unpacked the set to discover that the time in storage allowed the “cloud” to shrink and dry out. Now the angel’s base can’t possibly fit, and the Play Doh has permanently affixed itself to the stable roof. Big disappointment. As I’ve said before, craftiness was never one of my skills. Who knew Play Doh would shrink?

If you cover the Play-Doh with wet paper towels, it may soften up. I don’t know if your manger stable would be damaged by water but, if not, this could work. If it is truly water proof, adding water to the Play-Doh will soften it.

So sorry. But, play doh does soften up. I had to banish it to outside in the yard because my son was messy and it was getting in the carpet. Was a great plan and worked really well………..until it rained. It all came back to life and got on the bottom of his shoes and came back inside. 😦

I maxed out again. Had to mute Tucker Carlson. Not because of anything he did wrong, but I couldn’t handle listening to how Biden is picking his people…………by skin color. And, then Tucker went into the military being promoted by skin color. Now he is going to talk about how the Dems are going to change things once they get total control. I’m finished. Can’t handle it. Think I will get a glass of wine and watch Keeping Up Appearances. Besides, the lights on the bottom third of my tree went out and I don’t have a replacement string. Yeah, things are really bad. 🙄
