Hopefully someone like Texas AG Ken Paxton is on our President’s USAG short list for his second term. I quite doubt there’s a loyal strict Constitutionalist in the hierarchy of the Department of Justice at present.

Rosen seems the usual competent but not overly so governmental hire, though most of his career has been in the private sector. Fire-in-the-belly patriot isn’t likely his preference. See: The DOJ bio at https://www.justice.gov/dag/staff-profile/meet-deputy-attorney-general

The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections – This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What’s Going On Today
By Joe Hoft – Published December 14, 2020 at 10:16pm

Overall, the essay does provide a picture of Rosen. He speaks highly of the DOJ and FBI and it would be unrealistic to think he would be harsh on these departments in this setting. But he didn’t provide a full understanding of the real risks with voting machines, for example, that would provide more comfort in his recent promotion to Acting AG.

It’s so touching when he thanks the American people for saving him when we continued to believe in him and his honorableness, giving him our support. You do feel how much he’s been injured…his pride has taken quite a blow.

Running into the buzzsaw of Obama’s hatred, conceit and hubris isn’t easy to live through and come out intact. Being a man of action, he’s letting go with the emotion and repressed anger in a healthy manner by getting back into the fray. God bless him!

There were a few times I had a few doubts, but that was in the beginning. But, I got over that really quickly and believed in him more and more the more we found out about what had happened.

      Thanks Lucille,
I read that Flynn knew there were problems within the law enforcement and counter-intelligence communities and was going to clean house. Flynn said, Comey was not a squared away guy”. In view of what has been revealed, there were many more not squared away men & women.

Mornin’ all. A yucky ugly day here. In the 70’s, but high humidity and feeling like it is going to rain. It might, later on this afternoon. I am supposed to go to a dinner, a seminar about something, late this afternoon. I wish I hadn’t let me friend talk me into it since I will have to drive back home from her house in the dark. She is about a half hour away, but it is mostly well lit roads. But, it is really bad if it rains. So, I am already dreading it. The reason she wanted to go so bad is that this restaurant is a very expensive one and so she wanted to eat there. 🙄 Wish me luck. And, maybe say a little prayer this evening. I sure will be praying.

Good morning, aus. It’s supposed to rain all day today. So far there’s been nothing but a light snow dusting and right now there’s nothing. Who knows up here where the weather changes on a dime!

Praying for your having a good time at the restaurant and your safety while driving. Eat something delightful for all of us.

The Insanity Wrap, by Stephen Green at PJ Media, is nearly always a good read.

This morning’s has a wonderful reference to Biden. Simply refers to him as Asterisk.

    As in “President-Elect Asterisk”….

    Works for me.

My DH had his first appointment since leaving the hospital with the oncologist. He still seems to act as if it’s easy to cure, although it is now confirmed cancer. He will start this week on daily pills that are a form of chemotherapy that he calls a target drug, that just targets the cancer. He will receive another shot next week that continues to kill testosterone and then will get those shots every 3 months. No dates given on how long this will continue, all depends on labs that will take place every 6 to 8 weeks. He says though that great strides have been made in just the past two years in treating cancer.
DH still seems in good spirits, unless he’s hiding it from me and says if the doctor isn’t concerned and says it’s easy to get rid of, he’s not going to worry.
I do my best to not show my worry, although I know I fail, it’s hard to hide my lack of sleep and dark circles under my eyes. It also doesn’t help that I’m one of those when stressed or worried can’t eat.

He goes to the urologist Thursday, we’re really hoping he can get the catheter out, then he could do things, which is what’s driving him the most crazy, he’s not one to sit around. I keep kidding him that he’s getting spoiled with breakfast in bed every morning and his choice on every meal. lol

Please keep him in your prayers.

Sorry, I haven’t given any updates, but there really hasn’t been anything. He’s handling the hormone treatments well, the only side effects have been mood swings and hot flashes(I told him welcome to my world…lol). The mood swings are getting better, but the hot flashes continue and I don’t know if it’s the hormone treatment or the steroids he has to take with the hormone pills make him hungry all the time. He’s eating better than he has since he was in his 20’s, he’s skinny, so adding a little weight won’t hurt him.

He’s went back to work and once his catheter is removed tomorrow he will be able to go back to wearing his jeans and do even more than he can do now. We have a new normal of pills with breakfast, vitamins with dinner, and a pill 30 minutes after dinner and pills before bed.

His last PSA numbers went down by half of what they were and that was just 2 weeks after his first round of shots. He’s now had a second shot(different kind that he will take every 3 months and his arm instead of his stomach like the first one) and has been on his hormone/chemo pills. It will be nerve wrecking, at least for me every time he goes back to the oncologist and seeing what his PSA numbers are, but we have faith in God.
