Ran into ’17catsintennesse’ next door, told her we missed her and she should drop by even if just to say ‘HI’.

Late news is saying Biden’s asked Fauci to stay on and be his chief medical adviser. I wonder if this is his reward for the hatchet job he did on Trump?

Dateline ran a special tonite on the coronavirus vaccine, invited 4 CEOs from major drug companies (one of their biggest advertisers) and soft pitched some questions about their vaccines. They took a few minutes to slam Trump and praise Fauci – basically for the same issue – but in all it was a lovefest.

Interesting thing was they pointed out that only about 30% of the black population will get the shot while only about 40% of the Latinx population will. Also interesting was that about 30% of the nurses quizzed said they won’t get the shot either. Oh dear, this is going to get interesting, time to get FEMA to open the COVID Reeducation Camps to deal with malingerers.

Americans Are Suffering ‘Delusional Psychosis’ About CCP Virus, Psychiatrist Claims
      By Mark Tapscott – December 2, 2020

So much misinformation and exaggeration about the lethality of the CCP virus—also known as the novel coronavirus—has been broadcast by government officials and the media that many Americans are suffering from a “delusional psychosis,” according to Los Angeles child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Mark McDonald.

What began as fear of a then-unknown disease called COVID-19 has since evolved into what McDonald described to The Epoch Times on Dec. 1 as a national condition in which “there is a delusional psychosis that has taken over where people are impervious to rational thinking.”

Roger dat, we’re constantly hit by the number of COVID deaths as if LA would be a ghost town at any minute. As of this morning I’m showing a 2% death rate compared to over 9% for SARS-1. SARS-1 isn’t gone, juat awaitin’ in the wings yet we’re not seeing anything going on to prepare for its return, nor any other virus.

Being in the hospital for 5 days I learned many things these hospital administrators say on the news isn’t backed up with what I saw. They say the hospitals, including this one is overran with patients. The floor we were on, half the rooms were empty, as well as another floor that we had to walk across to get to the elevators to get to our floor.
They say there is a nursing shortage, yet at least on our floor they had more nurses than I’ve seen before when being in the hospital with family members.
I asked a few of them where the covid wing was and they said they knew there was one, but not where it was.
Now on to the ridiculous rules. When you enter you have to go through security, get your temp checked and then they put a wrist band on you with the date, room number and your temp. We had to do this once a day. You also had to put on one of their paper masks, but you only had to wear it in the hallways and elevators, once in the room you didn’t have to wear it. Some of the nurses wore a mask when they came into the room, some didn’t wear a mask.
In the cafeteria, they didn’t have tables blocked off, doctors, nurses, employees and visitors all sat around without masks talking and laughing. Sometimes there would be 7 or 8 doctors and nurses sitting at the same table.
Then in the surgery waiting room, they would only allow one person per patient, but you could go down the stairs in the lobby waiting room right below the surgery waiting room and could sit together, where there was a lot more people.

So outside of the masks and one visitor, nothing was any different any other time I’ve been in a hospital. Even the nurses said the rules changed day to day and they couldn’t keep up with them.
I haven’t worn a mask at all and I sure am not going to miss them. By the time I’d get to the elevator I’d be lightheaded and feel like I was going to pass out.

Wee hours of the day web hopping. I sound this recipe for what American translations call Austrian pancakes, a dessert. Looks better for breakfast to me. Looks like you bake the whole thing then tear into bites to fry. I’m intrigued by how she says she was taught to put mineral water in to make it lighter. I translated the whole thing bit by bit.I wonder what that cream is, how it is made?

Czar, have you ever seen this recipe before?

We’d have them sometimes in Bavaria, they were a sweet and interesting thing but I’d forgotten completely about them until your post. I’m a solid US pancake and waffle fan, so were many Germans after we introduced them to the US stuff slathered in various SWEET things. One of their favs was maple syrup and vanilla ice cream on waffles, we left a trail of potential diabetics in our wake.

I don’t recognize the cream, this person may have just served it with cream or added the cream for a photogenic touch. The few times I had kaiserschmarrn they were served with fruit preserves.

It looks like creme fraiche. Sort of a sour cream, but not as sour, and very creamy! To me, it tastes just like Mexican Crema. It’s used in a lot of British cookery. I’ve seen recipes for it on Youtube made with heavy cream and either sour cream, or buttermilk. It’s sort of like a rich yogurt! 35% butterfat (yikes).

Mornin” all. What a start to the day. Went for our morning walk and Loki jerked the leash out of my hand and took off. She attacked two dogs on leashes that were about 10 times her size. SMH I had to chase (picture running in slow motion) her down and pull her away from them. I guess she envisions herself to be the size of a wolf. Hope your day starts better.

And as I predicted, the normalization of drugs as a reward for a Democratic win begins. The House (Democrats) has passed a bill decriminalizing marijuana nationwide The bill would decriminalize marijuana, expunge the convictions of those convicted of non-violent marijuana crimes and put a 5% tax on its sale.

The bill’s almost surely dead in the Senate but it will come back in the midterms as a club to hit Republican Senators when they run. It’s going to be a slow process but as with Denver and the Left Coast we’ll see the harder drugs decriminalized – I’m betting California will push for cocaine – and ‘safe’ houses set up where junkies can shoot up under medical supervision and without LEA interference. America…a giant Amsterdam.

An update after one night at home and our new normal for awhile I guess. He’s feeling better, pretty sore today from his first round of shots, which they said the second day would be the worst day for that. He slept pretty much all night, he only woke up once, needing help to the bathroom.
Pathology report hasn’t came back and if it comes back the way they expect, he will at some point within the next month start the immunotherapy pills.
He’s eating good though, way more than he normally eats. They want him to eat a lot of fruit and a high carb diet along with leafy green vegetables. He likes salads and spinach, pretty much all fruit, beans, pasta and potatoes. My son, daughter and son-in-law are being a lot of help, doing everything so I can concentrate on taking care of him. My daughter is the new chef around here and they’re all doing the farm chores and household chores.

The grandbabies are glad they can see him now as they wouldn’t let them in the hospital. He could only have adult family members in the room and only one visitor at a time. They say their prayers for PaPa every night. I guess my grandson heard his parents talking because he tells his mama that he says his prayers in his head and prays for God to make PaPa better and Nanny to get some sleep.

Thank all of you for the prayers and please keep praying.

We sort of know the path. We were told shots and pills. Really hoping when he goes back to the urologist he will be able to go to the bathroom on his own and can get rid of the catheter, although going through his abdomen has been so much easier on him, without all the bladder spasms that were causing him so much pain.
We know the side effects of the shots, but still really don’t know much about the pills.

He’s been so much better today, almost to the point if not for the catheter, he’d be almost normal. I haven’t been able to keep him in our room today. He even ate dinner at the table with everyone tonight. I don’t know what I would do without my kids, especially my daughter right now.
I’ve always thought I was pretty strong, but this has shown me I’m not as strong as I thought I was. For a few days I was a basket case.

We’ve all been told by many people how they beat prostate cancer, many people we never even knew had it.

Thank you. The oncologist says they can knock it out and seems confident, but it’s hard. I go up and down. God gives me peace, then I take it back.
PaPa is superman to all of us. So it’s hard to see him depending on us, when we all depend on him.

So, Czarowniczy said I needed to let everyone know I’m still alive and kicking! So here I am. Alive, the kicking part is doubtful…. 😉

Have had my share of a tough year too. Lost half my salary way back in the early days of panic and still don’t have it back. Decided to open an Airbnb in my home to help with the sudden financial shortfall. It has been good, but keeps me busy cooking and cleaning.

On the sad news front, due to heart issues, I’m now on meds that have increased my fatigue level, so I simply don’t have the energy to keep up as I once did. Also, sad to report I’ve lost many of my cats in the last year and am down to 10. That seems like a lot to you, I’m sure, but for someone who had over 30 at one point, it seems like about 1 or 2 to me.

Anyway, saying “Hi y’all”! Thanks for missing me. 🙂

What the H— is going on. Planes have been flying over us for almost half an hour. It seems like the rumble of big jets along with smaller planes. The airport is fairly near us, several miles away, though. Planes fly over us occasionally. But, this is really weird. MacDill Air Force Base is in Tampa, but not what you would call near us. Strange.

Well, I will tell you there was definitely something going on for about an hour here. The planes don’t bother me usually, but these seemed too low and were very loud and had a different sound. They could have been coming from McDill Air Force Base maybe. But, if what I was hearing was them right after takeoff, there were a bunch taking off one right after the other. I will check back with Monkey Werks tomorrow.

    Hey Stella and everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. I hope it’s ok if I ask a question about CTH2.

I was wanting to verify Admins can still see ‘previous comments’ even though for user’s those pages are inaccurate or empty ?

I don’t want to be presumptuous but there is a teeny tiny chance a long comment at the bottom of page 3 of today’s update post may help (eventually) address this issue, and be much more efficient.

Happy holidays and Merry Christmas (in advance) !
