        Wouldn’t you just love to be walking along that wood path! Hopefully around the bend there are some benches for folks to sit and contemplate the beauty.

          I would love to walk there, but I would like the solitude to remain. I would not want ‘urban blight’ setting in.
          We use to the beach in what was called “the Tailrace” Quiet, very private, the water had been run through a hydroelectric plant and it was almost ice cold. But the sand was so nice. There were shallow areas where you could move around in the water, they were warmed by the sun. More and more people started coming, it was crowded with trash. I never went back.

      Every time I see a picture like that of a little church in the woods, I remember when I went to church with my grandparents in TN. The church looked a little like this one. My great aunt and uncle and their son, my cousin, also went there. I think (I am not really sure) it was a Baptist church and they were definitely holy rollers. It was very tiny and only 4 or 5 to a bench and the preacher was a fire and brimstone preacher. By the time he was bright red in the face and sweating profusely, he came crawling down the aisle on his knees yelling at the top of his voice. I was only 12 and he scared me to death. I was sitting next to my cousin and I ended up scrunched up in his armpit trying to hide and he was laughing at me.

        The church was likely one of the Pentecostal denominations in which emotional outbursts are part of the service. Getting on the floor yelling and moaning led to the term “holy roller” for those participating. For some reason it’s considered to be Holy Spirit activity. IMO, since the Holy Spirit is called “The Comforter” and not “The Terrorizer”, it’s a totally unnecessary activity; and I’d like to know what Bible Scripture it’s based upon.

        It’s a sunshiny day so far but it’s supposed to start raining sometime today through Friday and then snow starts. But the forecast changes quickly over here.

    In 2010 Eric Coomer joined Dominion as Vice President of U.S. Engineering. According to his bio, Coomer graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics. Eric Coomer was later promoted to Voting Systems Officer of Strategy and Security although Coomer has since been removed from the Dominion page of directors.

      My friend called last night late because some of her other friends who are liberals told her that Joe has had the votes certified and is actually the President elect. She called me because she said she figure I would know the truth. So, this article helps explain what I tried to tell her last night. So much lying going on.

Smartmatic International Group has been the parent company of Sequoia Voting Systems Inc. since it’s acquirement in 2005.     Thursday Czar had the county agent bring two have-a-heart traps to catch some of a pack of dogs running the area. Friday, the guy called to say there was a yellow cat in one, and for us to check if it was one of ours: it wasn’t. He took it to the animal shelter b/c he was not allowed to leave it, even tho our property is WAAY out in the country and this was his home. I called that afternoon to say we’d like him back, and they were eager, since he was totally feral and wouldn’t let anyone touch him. Czar took a carrier and retrieved him, and he was very grateful to be home, not even scratching Czar as he ran out of the carrier and trotted back into his woods.

      My little feral boy, Gee, is impossible to catch. He won’t even let me pick him up and he’s been with me since December 2013. It’s bite/scratch time if I try. No way to get him to the vet if needed unless hours were spent by me and anyone I could convince to aid me in catching him.

      This is particularly terrible since he started ailing about two weeks ago. He was drooling and wouldn’t eat, acted like he was in pain from his mouth. If he’d been eating, I could have put his food in the large metal carrier I used when moving to Idaho, and trapped him. Alas!

      So online I went to discover what could possibly be wrong. His symptoms seemed to indicate he had gum or tooth problems. So I purchased some gum and mouth liquid medication with a fish flavor–since there was no way I could give him a pill–and was assured it would arrive in five days.

      In the meantime I prayed for him numerous times a day. He began to eat some soft moist food and acting a teensy-bit perkier. When the meds arrived ON A SUNDAY three days (HAPPILY) after ordering, he lapped it down along with his food. Last night he was tearing around the apartment like he’d never been ill.

      Hopefully that’s the last of it.

    Stella, what is this trucker’s strike about? I read about it, but evidently the info evaporated from my brain as I was sleeping. A common problem for me. 🙄

        It makes me so mad. I remember reading about it from comments from a trucker, but I don’t remember the details. It is kinda like finding the folder in a file with nothing in it. :/

    What a coward! Frankly, I don’t doubt this is true. If he and his cohorts think it’s “political” to determine if someone is a traitor or promoting sedition, then they need to be fired and never allowed to work in government again.
