Kyle Rittenhouse , charged with killing 2 Kenosha protestors, extradited to Wisconsin

New law made today. Statutory appellate rights do not exist for you in Illinois if your name is spelled Kyle Rittenhouse. Onward to Wisconsin, tacking on so many future civil rights claims it is difficult to describe. Kyle is strong as ever.__John Pierce
I’m furious at our third world judiciary.

Too bad he wasn’t part of the antifa – he’d never even be charged.

From 1963 through his last Bond movie as Bond in ’83, he WAS and IS James Bond. His passing leaves us shaken and stirred.

Why did this end up here instead of under Weed’s post? Machinations of the evil Blofeld, Auric Goldfinger or just the usual WordPress?

Oh, how I love this. Send the witch packing, at least from the Soeaker’s office, and all those perks she sucks up. From us.

Ah hell. I loved him. Perhaps my favorite movie role ever was Captain Marko Ramius. I was crazy about Tom Clancy books, and he absolutely was the personification of that character as it was written.
I hate to take the flip side, but dammit if stupid Alec Baldwin wasn’t my favorite Jack Ryan ever.
Eternal rest Sir. There is no one to replace you.

My big problem was in trying to see Tim Curry as Dr. Petrov and not as Dr Frank N. Furter. I kept on expecting him to prance through the conning tower in bustier and fishnet stockings.

Mornin’ all. It was 69* here when I finally got up this morning, around 8:30. It actually felt chilly out. LOL.
Little Loki did all right last night. We went for our walk as usual after we got up and she was very interested in her food dish because I put the kibble in it before we left and soaked it in chicken broth because it needs to soak for a long time before it softens. So, she scarfed it right up as soon as I put it down. She has been less active than usual, but other than that, she looks good. I just gave her her first dose of antibiotic and wouldn’t you know, it is clindamycin. I am allergic to it. I will have to wear gloves when I give it to her. 🙄

I’m so happy to have lekkie! I love the beautiful black woman who lives across from me! She checked on me regularly to make sure I was OK. My 4 fans and my dehumidifier are all running, and I am well.
If I could just find someone who could tell me the truth about what the problem is without charging me thousands and it not working! I’m actually getting real weird vibes about anyone visiting my home to tell me to do this or that.
Does anyone have suggestions about who I should call, or what I should do? My DH is a dumb-a$$ and doesn’t know a radiator from a tail-pipe!
HELP!
My house stinks like a swamp!

My only suggestion is to call your insurance agent and ask if he has any suggestions. How about your city inspector? He/she might have suggestions.

I’m afraid of the insurance co. When you make inquires, they quickly drop you!. City Inspector sounds like a good idea, I’ll check that out. Thanks, Stella. I bought my own dehumidifier. It sucks out 10 gallons a day! Working really great so far, but I need to stop this from re-occurring. I’ve already spent $2300 on gutters just 2 weeks before Delta! Seems to have made it worse. We don’t have much more money to spare!

Is your house built on a slab? How is the water coming in? Perhaps you need something like a french drain around the perimeter of the house.

I had ServPro in my house. They brought in industrial air scrubbers and dehumidifiers. They aren’t cheap, but you could get a quote from them or another remediation company. Would your insurance cover it?

Have you checked for signs of a leak? If you have that much of a volume of water being taken out daily it’s not just humidity getting in.

No, there is definately a leak! We woke to 3″ of water in the whole house during Delta. Zeta wasn’t so bad, but 2 rooms of squelchieness. The water doesn’t have anywhere to go when it rains really hard. It seeps up over the slab, but under the siding. The new (expensive) gutters seem to have made things worse. They actually put on bigger gutters, but I don’t know. The driveway is also disappearing. There is a drain, but I don’t know if it’s stopped up. Maybe the rain barrel is overwhelmed. I know I am right now.
I want my Mommy!

You got a leaky main?

We had a problem with water in the bedroom and back hall, which I thought was a crakced tile or shower pan or perhaps rain coming under the siding. Turned out it was from the drain for the air conditioner, which was plugged with slime mold. Water filled up the drain tube and backed up into the house. After the ac guy blew the slime plug out, so long as we put a cup of bleach in the drain every month the drain never backed up.
We also had a problem with rain backing up into an addition to that house, which was at ground level having been built on a back porch. When the house began to sink (concrete slab) it got worse. When we had the house lifted, 9″ in that corner, the problem went away.
I have also heard of houses which flooded from water runoff from houses slightly uphill from them.

This is a Facebook comment from a Michigan friend who is a converted leftist. He’s also a lawyer:
I’ve been trying to gauge Michigan and I have no idea. While nationally Trump seems to have the more enthusiastic supporters, a lot of people on the left absolutely hate Trump, as you know, and I’m sure they’ll be coming out. And I don’t know about you, but if even twenty years ago you’d told me I’d spend the weekend before the election keenly hoping for a GOP victory, I’d have laughed at you.

There are a lot of those on the Left not that far Left. I see them akin to the Trotsyites when they split from Stalin, seeing him as too extreme. I’m sure there are a lot seeing themselves with a pickax buried in their heads if Biden and the Black Pantheress win.

This guy is definitely more on the right now. He’s also Jewish.

Trotsky was Jewish too. Interesting following the Pew Polls on religion and watching the changing faces of Judaism in America, with it becoming harder and harder in the US to qualify who is a Jew, even what a Jew is the label may be meaningless soon.
