Good News!! (& happy stories), October 6, 2020

This is one of nature’s miracles that still amazes and delights me.

Half a billion monarch butterflies lie sleeping in Mexico. As winter ends and spring arrives, the sun warms their wings and the forest comes to life as a cascade of butterflies take flight.

John Downer Productions used a robot hummingbird to capture the spectacle.

Government department heads were nuts back then too apparently.

Beautiful!

I agree!

So here’s a poem. I think most of us understand the sentiment.

I never thought I would appreciate a rat for any reason.

No kidding.

Yup.

Awww!

How funny!

Love this dog!

My Stella did this when she was a puppy! It is always funny.

They got the shot at just the right moment.

Nothing like a baby’s laugh. Hadn’t heard one in a while …

Not sure I would consider this a good thing …

Now, this is a good thing!

Wasn’t she pretty? I remember her in “A Shot In The Dark” with Peter Sellers.

It’s October!

Today’s puppy. They are all cute, no matter the breed!

Charlie’s prayer.

I hope your day is wonderful!

My little bird, Hamish, has always snuggled like that. He’s the same breed as well. A green-cheeked conjure. They are sweet little birds.

    Those monarchs are amazing.
We used to learn about, and see films of, things like the monarchs in elementary school science class.
What are the kids taught now? Not monarchs, that’s for sure.

That neck thingy looks like the “traction” device they put me in for acute spinal damage. Even had one for home. Nope, didn’t work, then, either.

That sign for men might better be changed to say Americans. Well, what Americans used to be, anyway.

Have i ever told ya i don’t like babies, or little kids? Nope, can’t stand ’em. Neither can Wicked Son. Nor my two gkids. Our fam is doomed to fail to extinction… 😉

Wonderful! How do you and Francisco Ribeiro pick such beautiful paintings? And Coleridge, I love his poetry. The parrot! Butterflies! The sweet dog with the flag, and the ticklish one! Yeah, Alf!?! And Charlie Daniels always gets it right. Thank you!
