Mornin’ everyone. Cloudy and not as hot here as it has been. Not yet what I would call cool, but better. sThe good news: the Dems are losing their collective mind. The bad news: the Dems are losing their collective mind and no telling what they will do next. All the prayers over the weekend were very uplifting.

Good morning, aus! Another beautiful day in the Idaho Panhandle. Glad your weather is better.

The prayers were so very uplifting. In case this one got erased forever at CTH, here’s the prayer attributed to St. Augustine…

      PRAYER FOR THE SICK

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake,
      or watch, or weep tonight,
and give your angels charge over those who sleep.

Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
      Rest your weary ones.
      Bless your dying ones.
      Soothe your suffering ones.
      Pity your afflicted ones.
      Shield your joyous ones.
And for all Your love’s sake.
      Amen.

Authorities Keep the Pressure on Suspected Rioters and Looters from Floyd Protests
Written by Tom Steward on October 02, 2020

Those involved in the riots, looting and vandalism that followed the death of George Floyd in police custody had better watch their back. Federal, state and local authorities still combing through thousands of hours of video footage, surveillance photos and tips from the public plan to keep the pressure on perpetrators.
This week law enforcement charged a Moorhead man in connection with the riots that broke out May 30 in Fargo. And North Dakota U.S. Attorney Drew Wrigley made it clear the heat is still on

Does Elizabeth II Privately Fear Win by Biden?
By STEPHEN MacLEAN, Special to the Sun | October 5, 2020

Prime Minister Boris Johnson may have sent his “best wishes” to President Trump and the First Lady. “Hope they both have a speedy recovery from coronavirus,” said the premier who himself barely survived had a nasty bout of it. Similar sentiments were sent by such leaders as Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Putin, Chairman Xi, and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

What, though, of Britain’s monarch, Elizabeth II? Oh, uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. Her heir, Prince Charles, contracted coronavirus in the spring and quarantined himself until he was hale. Meanwhile, the Queen has postponed her official engagements and taken shelter behind the thick stone walls and batiments of Windsor Castle.

It is very frustrating and a source of sorrow to try to share lifesaving good information with people who are just too sophisticated to listen. There were once three crosses on a hill. On one of those crosses was one “wise guy” who was clueless and chose to stay that way. Pascal’s Wager, do the math.

walther, you constantly post these immensely long posts. I will NOT approve them. If you have a short remark with a link or two, I will consider it. I am well acquainted with you and your posting habits over at CTH. It seems you have no OFF button.

I tried to post pandemic related information that has value for saving lives. People can make their own value judgments about the information. But it has to be posted for that to occur. Maybe you should make an exception and read what is the information. Delete it later if you judge the information to be worthless. I will try again after you reply.

If you need to make loooong posts with eight (!!!) links, you should have your own blog.

The comments on YouTube have no issue with long posts and many links. Most of my comments and replies are one or two sentences. So I think there must be a different issue probably philosophical or personal. But I can see you have already made your value judgment there is nothing new I would have to add to your already vast knowledge.
Pardon the interruption, you all can get back to more cerebral analysis and more current information and pretending not to know about Vadodara and the implications of nearly 200,000 people in the US who have needlessly died. That wouldn’t be any news or why.

I told you what I will accept on MY blog. You have a blog too, and are free to make posts all day long and link them here. DO IT, if you believe the information you have to share is important. I am not your personal blog.

ADD: This isn’t YouTube. And have you tried Twitter? Might give you some practice with short comments.

  16. Stella, I appreciate your say over on CTH.

I have been in personal touch with Thomas Lifeson, his new great deputy editor, Andrea Widburg and others. He told me they were having terrible tech issues and that he could barely function.

They are all having these disruptive interruptions as is CTH.

Andrea personally told me that some of the problems of even innocent comments being moderated…

Are because of the algorithms that they have to use to deal with a proliferated onslaught of bots, spam and trolls.

In her last email to me, she explained this scenario to and said they (AT) are doing the best they can…and she was honest enough to say it will probably get worse up to the election and perhaps even after if PDJT wins.

    So be aware.

But don’t give up your voice no matter what.

Bless you and all here…thinking about my NOLA friend, Czar!

    Shalom

I honestly don’t think the current problems at CTH are intentional, but due to their last updates. WordPress is working to restore functionality. CTH has had suspicious issues in the recent past that we believe are intentional – messing with the commenting/discussion functions, for example.

      • I know what ur saying, but I have had so many conservative friends going through it.

        WordPress is democratic and anti-Trump.

I and many other conservative voices have had to fight through their interventions.

Thomas of AT told me yesterday that he could barely function.

        The real media truth is…

The other side has fully launched their offensive to shut down our conservative voices.

I’ve been in touch with him and his new, great deputy editor, Andrea Widburg, who I have come to because of her intellect of an honest heart..they know what truth and conservativsm is up against.

Stella, you are one of voices God has blessed here on your site. I thank Him for that!

        Shalom and God’s best…always…

I have often been unable to finish reading any selected post at AT for a couple of weeks, without it simply dropping off the page and then a message of “Oh, snap, we don’t know what happened….”

I have been completely unable to access comments at AT for at least two weeks. I can click on the comments link but they do not open. And haven’t been able to comment for longer than that.

They have indeed been having a terrible time of it.

“Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.”

Yes. And the same advice applies to cancer and other things that can threaten our lives. Living in fear and trying to micromanage our way out of every possible threat is no way to live. Dealing with reality and fearing reality are very different things.

I participate as little as possible in the whole charade and certainly am not living in fear…the greatest danger in this stupid pandemic is those who want to dominate everyone else. So dangerous….I hope it will turn out that they overplay their hand so badly that they are truly exposed, leading to them being defanged. I hope. I certainly do not assume.

I agree completely Sharon. As you and I have discussed, one of the great dangers is trying to β€œsee” the world outside your bubble when something really hard hits you.
