I put this in the wrong CATegory…and also put in a greeting which hadn’t shown up by the time I went to bed…oh, well…time to go sailing off into the blue again on “Loretta” – a 187′ Aegean Yacht-built in 2009 at their shipyards in Bodrum, Turkey…

The interior is really something, too. The captain’s quarters looks to be about 700 sq.ft. and the interior wood paneling is exquisite.

Mornin’ kids! Gettin’ weird out there….

Mornin’ Miss Wee. There sure does seem to be a bit of sheer, raving panic, setting in with those folks across the aisle. I’m thinking that just for sheer pageantry, POTUS will have the paperwork on The Turtle’s desk by 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. 😀 😀 😀

Personally, I think he should ram it through, if that is possible. Reasons are twofold. First, why the hell not? And second, I fear Democrats or Independents who were going for Trump because of the economy and riots might change their mind with a Supreme Court nomination in the balance.
I could be very wrong about the second one, I don’t know. I do know that is a critical issue for me and lots of conservatives. Not sure about people I consider middle swing votes.

Hoo boy, if they draw that out as long as the time she stayed on the Court when she wasn’t on the Court, well, next year. I have never been able to figure out why she didn’t retire when O was president, unless she was just that sure of Killery.

I think she wanted the new appointment to be by the first woman President. She miscalculated.

I think she thought she was going to live forever. Seriously, if I were in my eighties and cared about the balance of the Court, I’d get out while I had a President from my party.

If she was an orthodox Jew, she would already be in the ground. Of course, she wasn’t.

Good morning, WeeWeed! I stayed up until 4:30 AM and have no one to blame but myself for reading all this bilge from the Left. One of the comments I read was: Does anyone think for a moment that Dems would hesitate to nominate someone to replace Justice Thomas?
Honestly, psychiatry needs to revise it’s views and simply declare that psychopathy is catching.

I wish I could share this on Facebook. I’ve read all the tips on how to do it, but the drop down menu in the upper right corner does not have copy link to tweet, it only has report tweet or copy embed code, which of course doesn’t work on Facebook.

If you are logged into Twitter, click on the icon at the bottom right of the tweet (looks like an UP arrow in a tray.) That is where you can “Copy link to Tweet”.

Nigeria’s president: Trump “looked at me in the face. He said ‘why are you killing Christians’?”
September 19, 2020 11:00 AM By Christine Douglass-Williams
Nigeria ranks 12th in the Open Doors USA World Watch List of the worst countries for Christian persecution. Fulani jihadists and the Boko Haram jihad group brutalize and slaughter Christians on a routine basis.
For some odd reason, Buhari — himself a Fulani and a Muslim — decided to be honest about what transpired between him and Trump.

More on Supreme Court appointments:
In an interview with Charlie Rose that aired on October 10 and 11, 2016, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated that, “Eight is not a good number for a collegial body that sometimes disagrees” and that “I would like to see the court have a full house by the time this term ends.” The Supreme Court’s term runs traditionally from the first Monday in October until the end of June.”
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in response to an audience question at Georgetown University Law Center regarding Judge Garland’s nomination, said, “I do think cooler heads will prevail, I hope sooner rather than later … The president is elected for four years, not three years, so the power he has in year three continues into year four. And maybe our members of the Senate will wake up and appreciate that that’s how it should be.”
July 11, 2016: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated her belief that the Senate should hold hearings on Judge Garland, “That’s their job … There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year.”

Talcum X and Rachel Dolezal have another one in their club. This chubby little Hoosier even had the chutzpah to change her name to Satchuel Paigelyn Cole. At one time she was AKA Jennifer Lynn Benton. There are more and more people in need of mental health services every day, and 99.99% of them seem to be of the libtard persuasion.

IF YOU’RE FREE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT…
…tonight, actually…you can tune in at 7 p.m. Central time to see Center of the American Experiment’s Virtual Gala 2020. It will feature a live keynote by Sarah Huckabee Sanders (whose new book is really good, by the way) with audience Q and A. We will also present Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota with a Courage In Government award. And we will cut away live to a few of the dozens of viewing parties that are being held around the country. That is the most technically challenging part of the program, but I am told it will work.
The event is free, all you have to do is go to AmericanExperimentGala.com. Several thousand have already registered, but that basically means you get reminder emails. Anyone can view the gala–for free!–simply by going to AmericanExperimentGala.com at 7 Central (https://www.americanexperimentgala.com/). Or if you arrive a few minutes early, there will be a trivia contest beginning at 6:45, followed by a countdown to the main event.
I think it is going to be fun. And, since there won’t be a dinner, the whole event won’t last more than an hour and a quarter. Hope to see you tonight!
