Such good!

“When we track down fugitives, it’s a good feeling to know that we’re putting the bad guy behind bars. But that sense of accomplishment is nothing compared to finding a missing child,” said Darby Kirby, Chief of the Missing Child Unit.

“It’s hard to put into words what we feel when we rescue a missing child, but I can tell you that this operation has impacted every single one of us out here. We are working to protect them and get them the help they need.”

Very sad.

The hair!

Crazy dog!

The cats are on our side.

Have never had this problem. Pet doors?

It’s raining all day here today. I’ll try to remember this.

Wish they had these when I was a kid.

Think they mean it?

I’m late to the party, but this is just too cute!

Great idea.

Probably came in with the murder hornets …

SO cute!

Charlie’s prayer.

Brings back memories! I think this was released the summer I was married (1967).

Bars closed and now no ‘Sweet Caroline’…yet another crippling blow to untold thousands of middle aged drunks!

Ahhhh…Penny Lane. I was in Vietnam when it was released and our AFN just wouldn’t play a lot of pop. It was early ’68 before I heard it and, having Brit nana and uncle, I caught the naught bit in it right off.

Notice how much of the Beatles, like Monty Python, stuff wanders off to putting urban settings in a rural area. That urban Brit fascination with grass and trees and having a lawn, something that’s carried over to us.

Love the bit of good news from the Alternative Learning Center (ALC) in Dubuque, Iowa. Receiving PE credits for helping seniors or those with disabilities with yard work and household errands like taking out the trash is something all high schools should do. It sure would be a great help to me to have assistance with odd jobs.

Right now I have to take out a bunch of trash and I’m not looking forward to it. LOL!

Too many critters, too cute! And the paintings are divine. But i keep thinking the cats visiting other people’s houses are running away from their everpresent people.
