Joe Dan sent this out Thursday evening…

    Strengthen him, Lord.
Send legions of angels to protect him, Father.
Guard & guide his heart & mind.
Ease his cares & give him good rest.
Give him Your peace & wisdom.
Cause his enemies to stumble & fall into confusion & panic.
    Give him energy & clarity.
    In Jesus name, Amen!

Interesting on how we’re getting so much of Biden’s policy talks and statements on various subjects from 3rd parties. Seems like his handlers are releasing things and news folks are reporting things but I’m not seeing a helluva lotta him where he’s not being closely managed.

Now we’re seeing Pelosi saying she doesn’t want to see him on stage debating Trump. I’m beginning to think they want us to vote for an unknown, unheard stealth candidate, vote for the warm, comfy vanilla and avoid the jalapeno. Wondering if there might not be a 25th Amendment move if Joe’s elected?

Several days ago I watched an interview Eric Metaxas did with a lady who had died and come back. It was unusual, like in some ways to other common stories. But it was also very different and compelling. She died a terrible, painful death, went to what she interpreted to be hell, and cried to God, a God she did not believe in, for help.

He brought her out, not to Heaven, but what she called eternity. She said everything she experienced was inexplicable, and you could tell she struggled for words, because everything from the pain and terror to the utter perfection of eternity was experienced as sound.

It made me wonder what unknown joys might be behind our love of music, and our need for it. I’ve said this before, I have some artistic ability, could have had a lot more, but I’ve never pushed the envelope with it. Nevertheless, it is a part of me that I like and enjoy. I’d give it and a lot more up in a heartbeat if I could have a beautiful voice and perhaps even a gift with some instrument. I’d dearly love to be able to sing.

Thanks for posting, it’s very beautiful.

Thank Menagerie for the story about the woman who died.

And I agree I think music transport the soul.

Good afternoon, Menagerie. Thinking about your grandson who entered kindergarten, has music become of interest to him? I ask because after watching an interview with Stjepan Hauser which was done in 2014, he spoke of his childhood where he seldom talked, but at age 4 heard the cello being played on a radio program and immediately became fascinated and somewhat obsessed with it. He didn’t elaborate but indicated that those who knew him thought he was autistic because of his lack of verbalization and his fixations.

This is him today…HAUSER – Nessun Dorma – ‘Alone, Together Concert’

“Stjepan Hauser performing “Nessun Dorma” from TURANDOT by Giacomo Puccini, in his hometown at the iconic Arena Pula, Croatia. He would like to dedicate this performance to amazing efforts of all the frontline workers around the world and pay tribute to all that is good in humanity.”

Whether Hauser actually had a mild case of autism isn’t known. But if he did, then what seems like an obsession can be an instinctive personal recognition–before anyone else accepts it–of a deep talent and ability that will not be denied.

As an update, how did Conner do today at school?

I’ve still got to check on today. He refused to get dressed this morning, mom had to force the issue, load him up and leave him in the care of big sister at the door. I will update with more when I get the latest, thanks for asking!

Okay, just talked to the little man himself. He said it was “Bbbbad” and he does not stutter, it was emphasis. They have something called brain breaks where they get up and move and dance. He apparently hates this for some reason.

Says he learned nothing, but made four friends, not too sure about that, the kid is a bulldozer.

Aw, little buddy. There’s every possibility that he, indeed, learned nothing because his interests lie elsewhere. Thank God you and his family are well-versed in how to be of assistance to him.

We’ll be praying for his comprehension level to grow and bloom, and for the easing of challenges his loved ones will face. God bless!

Praying every day Menagerie. Our school system is not equipped for the individual, it only works when students move learn and think as an amoeba. Especially for the very young children. Conner has his family fighting, praying and understanding him, that will be the saving grace through whatever will need to be weathered.

It is heart wrenching to know the struggle, prayers that there is beauty and light surrounding him always and that he feels God’s love as a gentle calming force.

Kenosha Sherif was done with feral people in 2018.

The article is BLM friendly and wrong in many ways but sometimes you have to examine the enemy to fight back harder.

Listen to his speech. I think POTUS should find a place in his next administration for him.

I would have to see his bank account before I could even admire this. I was once a fan of his radio show.

He also made up that cautionary story about almost shooting his son (his son was making noise in a room and Glen kept saying “I have a gun I’m in fear for my life. Show yourself” or some other such nonsense, which to a responsible gun owner made no sense. There was more to what appeared to have been a concoction but I think I tried to block it out of my mind because I don’t remember the whole tale.

        Gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I used to listen to Glenn regularly, on radio and on Fox, and really liked him. Went to see him with Sarah Palin up in Anchorage (4 hour drive each way). That was 2012-2013. When he and Ted Cruz went to the Texas border and passed out teddy bears and soccer balls (?2014) I thought, whoa, what is he thinking?? When he embarrassed himself “swearing in” Cruz during the primaries in 2016, I had to stop listening. When he became a committed NeverTrumper after the election and joined the National Review hit job on President Trump I came to hate him. Never listened to him or Mark Levin since Trump became the candidate and they could not get on board.

I am glad to see that Beck is doing a public mea culpa (do Mormons do that?) but there is little else about him that I return to having respect for. I’m with Menage on this.

Sigh. Unless he admits he was on heroin or crack, I will never have an ounce of regard (not respect) for him after watching him roll his face in a bowl of Cheetos. I don’t care if he did it for a million dollars… My Dad, who is a real man, would NEVER have performed that stunt. Neither would any other man of worth that I know.

WaPo has a ‘secret’ recording of Trump’s sister saying that he had someone else take the Penn U entrance test for him and they want a probe!

So if the schoolonoscopy finds any cheating what are they going to charge him with, impersonating a Kennedy?

She’s also a lawyer/judge so I’m wondering if the ‘secret’ recording is a cover as it’s not a fact but some unsubstantiated rumor. By the Post saying it was a ‘secret recording’ she can maintain deniability by saying she was just mentioning a rumor while dumping on her brother.

I’d pay to be at that full Trump family Thanksgiving dinner.

That’s the recording his nutty niece made, isn’t it…that story was in her book apparently.

The family of the man the niece accuses of taking the test for Donald Trump is outraged. Then she said it was some other guy by the same name…uh huh!
