    The black and white cat is our Turkish Angora. She was a great cat. Came to live with us in Utah as an adult. We started calling her the outside kitty, which morphed into “The OK”. Yeah, we are sorta funny about animal names….

    She’s the one who slept on Czar’s hip, and when he turned over she walked along to the other hip like bears in the circus walk on a rolling ball.

    Cats understand what you say, they just choose not to react unless it pleases them. This morning when I got up the grey cat was sleeping on the bed and watched me move to the bedroom door. She just watched…until I said “Breakfast?” and she let out a “MEOW!”, leapt off the bed and ran into the kitchen.

    When Her Majesty was done eating and while licking the last dregs of Friskies from her whiskers I said “Outside?”, got another :MEOW!” and she ran down the hall to the back door, meowing when I didn’t get there fast enough.

    Now let me try that with “Get outta my ice cream!” or “Stop scratching the chair!” and see the response I’ll get.
