That is so typical of my little feral boy, Gee. Even in hot weather he’ll dive under the covers if anyone even knocks on the front door, let alone come in the apartment. Seems like every night I have to take the hair remover brush to the sheets.

There are times when you believe you have the world’s smartest cat, and then there are times…
We have acat that was raised indoors but LOVES the outdoors. He’ll roam the woods and brush hunting rodents and we’ll see him on the roof or 40-feet up a tree, just hanging there waiting for the perfect gazelle-rodent to drop on. He also owns the back patio…he can be found from the ground to the roof and all places in between and we don’y know how he gets up there.
Today it’s raining but he wants outside so he sat at the door surveying places to hide under. There are shelves, big chairs with angled bottoms and very thin openings in the seat and even sa large table with a solid tile top. He surveyed…calculated…and when I let him out he dove under a wagon with a mesh (expanded metal net) bottom. He sat there for a while getting soaked and made his next move…right for the table but stopping short and hiding under one of the tale’s chairs…the seat is metal mest just like the wagon.
The old dog was watching, she just shook her head and suggested we go into the kitchen and I give her a piece of cheese. Makers me glad I live in the woods, no neighbors to ask: ” Does THAT cat live at YOUR house?”.
