   Obrador is just marking time, going thru the motions until November. If Biden wins it’s the signal for the cartels to go back to business as usual. Their infrastructure in the US grew markedly from 2008 to 2016 and it’s been somewhat problematic for them since but they’ve still grown and prospered since.

   Their friends in Congress conveniently ignore their blatantly doing business in the US, despite increased efforts to control illegal drugs they still flood in and keep the market well supplied. The Mexican cartels are still the primary source of heroin in the US, from the local poppy fields to the local labs it’s all a Mexican process and product. Ditto Walter White class meth.

   I’m curious as to when Obrador will visit two SWern states I’ve had my eye on for a few years, considering the extent of cartel infiltration and involvement in them he just might want to dropin and discuss their virtual annexation to Mexico.

     Do you think they will be satisfied with 2 states? I am thinking they will settle for nothing less than Texas plus the Mexican Cession.
     In other words, exactly what Spain had. My thoughts are they never had any right to those lands because they wanted Independence, they should have given the same to everything else.
     The Writ of the Aztecs never ran past some piss stream of a river whose name I forget. It was way South of the Rio Grande.

       They need those states as a base for cartel operations north of the border. New Mexico ios at, if not over, 50% Hispanic and economic conditions ain’t rosy.

       Arizona is about 30% Hispanic and its economy is in somewhat better shape but it shares the same problem as New Mexico – their borders are on Old Mexico. Both the Jaurez and Sinaloa cartels run massive amounts of drugs i to both states, stockpile and distribute from it. Somehow the drugs just can’t seem to be stopped or even stemmed…

       With the huge amounts of money flowing through the states one wonders just what it buys as far as favors go. If the cartels can set up freeport zones to stockpile the drugs in one or both states while state watchers look in a different direction (OK, more so ) a lot of their proiblems will ebb. All ya gotta do is buy or elect the right people and the state’s yours.,
