Welllllllll, governor put out the word, looks like Louisiana won’t go to phase 3 for about another month – cases spiking, or more like continuing a weeks long climb.
Geez,wonder why? NOPD released stats that since March 20th it’s responded to some 3000 complaints of large (illegal) gatherings. Just last night they responded to a large (at least a hundred people) block party downtown. No figures for other cities like Baton Rouge but all considered, including the infection rates for other social diseases, they’re probably onboard with NOLA.

There seems to be more of Orwell than of Serling about this, it’s New Speak, a redefinition of truth and what you see. You see burnings and lootings while the Left says it’s indignation by the oppressed and marginalized, directed against the vehicles of their oppressors.
You see outright theft and the Left says it’s the redistribution of wealth stolen from the people. Centuries of economic oppression borne on the backs of an underclass ruthlessly exploited and disenfranchised. Anyway, they’re taking the stuff of the rich who’ve inturn taken it from the less rich, a social tort action, and they ain’t taking your stuff. At least not yet, anyway (Left unsaid).
The world turned upside down.

Yes, we’ll take the “grudgingly given” support and vote…but I do wish they’d shut-up. They are a heck of a lot more annoying than anything President Trump could ever say.

So true. Besides, they have a nice outdoor area, but mostly is it used by smokers. So, the whole time you are eating you are being suffocated with smoke.

Temp went to 94 but humidity dropped to 51%! I quickly mowed the yard and got the grass swept up, as well as some chair covers dried on the line before the rain & humidity arrived. Yeaaa!

It was over 95* before the sun got on the north side of the apt. It has cooled off to a more comfortable 91* now. I stopped off at Publix to pick up a few things on my way home. By the time I got here I was so limp I could hardly sit up and wondered if I would ever cool off. I am going to have to start wearing a wide brimmed hat everywhere, I guess.

BTW, largest increase in the COVIS cases in Louisiana is among the young who’ve been flocking to bars, parties and other still illegal gatherings. So all of that social responsibility, wokeness and deep consideration for the wider community goes right out the window when it comes to repressed hedonism.

When I think how much forward progress in race relations and economics could have been shown if the left/progs/libs/Dems hadn’t been such haters falsely accusing us and our President of being haters! President Trump is so greatly maligned and has done so much for the entire nation of every race and ethnicity. All the left offers is mass psychosis.

The noose had been there since 2019.
Drivers are assigned garages/stalls based on points.
I guess Bubba’s mechanics saw the noose, contacted the NACAR bosses, who called the FBI. Issue closed as stated above.
