Kente cloth is a traditional cloth made in Ghana. I doubt that either of these hypocrites has been to Ghana – or anywhere else in Africa – and certainly neither of them were born there. That goes for the rest of these phony Democrats; even the black ones.
If you ask me, this is about reports that more blacks will be voting for Donald Trump this year. They don’t give a rat’s ass about the black and brown citizens of America’s cities. If they did, why haven’t they tried to help the hundreds killed in cities like Chicago, Detroit and Baltimore every year? Defunding police would only exacerbate the problems.

Chicago is already saddled with a consent decree that the old mayor Rahm Emmanuel endorsed after the Laquon Macdonald shooting some years ago. Chicago police do not feel the support from the mayors office and have pulled back significantly from any risky police work. IMO, this will be the template for all the cities that cave to this defund insanity.

What I found interesting was that the CPD traced a huge number of the guns used in Chicago thug crimes to a gunshop in a county just outside of Chitown. The city, though it could easily have, didn’t take the actions necessary to either severely cut sales or close the shop as an example to others. Felt like the city wanted the shootings to go on.
Along those same line, while I was working with an unnamed Federal agency that deals with firearms I was told that a large number of illegal firearms used in crimes in Chicago and other areas in the Midwest come from one smallish city (pop ~25,000) in northern Mississippi. It has one of, if not THE largest number of FFLs per 100K in the US. Seems that years ago a lot of black families moved north for economic opportunities and left other family behind. Also seems a lot of left-behind have a thriving business in buying guns and illegally shipping them north. You could buy guns at tire shops, florists, almost anywhere yet knowing all of this the operations still go on, the government is loath to shut down the known bad guys.
Then there was (stillis?) that huge Mexican cartel operation that worked out of Chicago, turned more yearly profits than the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, it controlled just about all drug sales in the Midwest. No one in Chicago noticed it until it got so huge that you couldn’t possibly ignore it, then the Feds tripped over it and arrested the leader. Note that there was no word on if that arrest destroyed the cartel’s operations but drug prices seem to be stable.
It’s all coincidence.

New Orleans is under a consent decree anda foreign overseer is second guessing every NOPD move. Officers and recruits are receiving loads of touchy-feely training, they get more beauty shop stuff than tactical stuff, that combined with the non-police oversight of their every action keeps many officers off balance, the phrase I’m hearing more and more is: “Don’t get out of the car!”.
TV news is cutting way back on crime reporting, most murders are reported but in a way that makes one think it was more of a parking violation than a murder. Watch ’em pressure the networks to take Cops and Live PD off the TV.

Once police are disbanded the violence increases, Left blames it on a combo of rage at the previous ‘rulers’ being expressed and/or reactionary elements trying to destabilize the new government and return to the Bad Old Days. Only option is for the new people’s government to create its own ‘responsible to the people’ (thru the state) state police and there we go – 1917 in Russia, Okhrana replaced by the Cheka.
