No idea what kind of flower it is, and not sure what kind of flying creature the little guy is I thought some type of bee, his back leg is full of pollen.

My mum has a huge garden. I this week have managed to kill an aloe plant, a flowering bush and 4 herbs (that my friend gave me naively saying “Oh anyone can grow these” 🙄 are looking really woozy.

          *Sigh*

I’m down two shrubs already. And the herbs look iffy. To be fair, I bought them in a box at Big Lots. They might be anything and older than dirt. In hind sight I wish I had gotten them at a garden center.

My bush I killed with weed killer 🙄(I think) my aloe, who knows, my herbs were a gift from an over confident friend. People with green thumbs always seem to think I have a dormant green thumb. So far the joke is on them.

I still have 2 surviving Aloes, my Christmas cactus which survives but never looks very healthy and 4 succulents. This is the best I have ever done with plants.

Have only seen the Southern Cross twice in my life. I’m laughing at the idiots who say the President does not have the Constitutional power too deploy the US Military into the urban cities. “Go ahead make his day”. LBJ Detroit 1968, 101ABN Div. FDR 1933 Iowa, Republican farmers chased the government foreclosure agents out, 1863 Lincoln, riots in New York City, and my Favorite……. 1792 G, Washington, Whiskey rebellion, W. Pa. Sent the Army in too suppress the rebellion…..Col Hamilton (sec of Treasury) hung a few, and the rest disbursed. Ironically the hangings took place on the Braddock Battlefield.
That’s what t have for these little commie pucks……loaded all available magazines, full bandoleer for shotgun…….perimeter secure……1SG did I forget anything?

The Watts Riot: “On August 11, 1965, Marquette Frye, an African-American motorist on parole for robbery, was pulled over for reckless driving.[2][3] A minor roadside argument broke out, which then escalated into a fight with police.[2] Community members reported that the police had hurt a pregnant woman, and six days of civil unrest followed.[3] Nearly 4,000 members of the California Army National Guard helped suppress the disturbance, which resulted in 34 deaths[4] and over $40 million in property damage.[5] It was the city’s worst unrest until the Rodney King riots of 1992.” Wikipedia

1992 Los Angeles riots: The rioting spread throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area, as thousands of people rioted over a six-day period following the announcement of the verdict. Widespread looting, assault, arson, and murder occurred during the riots, which local police could not control due to lack of personnel and resources against the sheer number of rioters. The complete disorder in the Los Angeles area was only resolved after the California Army National Guard, the United States military, and several federal law enforcement agencies intervened.

“By the time the riots ended, 63 people had been killed, 2,383 people had been injured, more than 12,000 had been arrested, and estimates of property damage were over $1 billion, much of which disproportionately affected Koreatown, Los Angeles. LAPD Chief of Police Daryl Gates, who had already announced his resignation by the time of the riots, was attributed with much of the blame.[4][5]” – Wiki

Well the insurrection Act of 1887 allows the President to deploy troops in the US to suppress disorder. Oh yeah, and Eisenhower sending the 101st Airborne Division to Little Rock to integrate the schools in 1957.

Never understood what this song was about. Divorce or something.
So many songs of that era did not make sense, although the study of iambic pentameter was good.
Songs like this were the best advertisement for not doing drugs.

Trump’s Plan To Trim Platform Could Emerge As New Contract With America
By ADELE MALPASS, Special to the Sun | June 1, 2020

President Trump’s plan to distill the Republican platform to its essential principles may be opposed by some conservatives. By no means all of them, though. Count me as one former Republican county chairman and a member of a past platform committee who sees this plan as long overdue — potentially a new kind of contract with America.

Don’t Tread on the Trump Captain

As a result, President Trump and Carlos have obviously made Admiral’s Cove Great Again. They have also reinvented an inspiring new kind of Trump rally — The Trumptilla.

Hello everyone. We are here in a resort just North of Polk County. It has been quiet all day. I keep checking to see what is going on in Lakeland. Not much news yet. Probably won’t hear until morning.
