My good news is that, because things are open now, we went to lunch at one of our favorite places, Woody’s and it turned out they were open, even if it was just for lunch. We each decided to get a $50 gift certificate to help them out now on top of our lunches. I had a salad and my friend got her favorite, brisket. We had such a good time and she was over the moon to be able to eat out.
Then…………we went shopping at a favorite store near there and found a few things. It was fun to be able to shop a little. I found a new purse, a pair of cute, cheap, earrings, and a decorated cross to hang on the front door at Easter. All in all, a good day.

So many happy stories. It seems that this whole disaster has caused us to get out of our ruts and change some things in our lives, for the better maybe. Growing our own food, as much as we can, is one good thing that people can do. And, maybe people are waking up to the fact that we need to have some supplies stocked to take care of ourselves in an emergency for a period of time. I certainly will stock extra TP. LOL Of course, I always stock up with some extra food and things in case of a hurricane. TP was never a consideration.

Every one is great. Especially loved the bookstore word, and the bluebird. I keep thinking that with all this focus on the coronavirus family, could they, just maybe, discover a cure for the common cold?
