My daughter just had a first grade Zoom class (all girls) in which teacher informed the girls that she got engaged. Class derailed. Every hand raised: “Do you love him?” “Do you kiss him?” “Are you so happy?”
But I’m sure a class of boys would have been no different, right?

Some more #GoodNews from lockdown. After being at home to see my daughters first steps, I was also home to record her first word! The last 6 weeks really has been an emotional rollercoaster. pic.twitter.com/cUn9EoKHUx

A huge thank you to the florist who donated their leftover flowers today for us to deliver alongside our Good Neighbours food parcels. An act of kindness that will brighten the day of many vulnerable people across the city. #goodnews #goodneighbourscovid19 pic.twitter.com/DUTLtHAUJY

Lord we need ongoing courage, persistent faith, plentiful strength and compassionate patience to see us through the turbulence ahead. Lord bless us with an abundance of these and all the other strengths we’ll need in the days to come.
