I’m having it sent out to be bronzed as soon as the bronzing shops are open again:
LOVE THIS! WE have the governors of the largest Democratic states claiming…STATES’ RIGHTS! The Democrats for years have been saying that the Civil War signaled the end of the 10th Amendment as a guarantee that the states had any more rights of self determination than the Federal government allowed and created an entire panoply of legislation reinforcing that position.
Now we have those same Rats saying they and not the Federal government have the sole ability to determine how and when their states will open again. Let’s remember this when the Feds start coming after our guns in states that have passed preemption laws.

Not just guns, either. Abortion, voter id laws, marijuana…heck, the list is endless.
This should be fun.

Bottom pic looks like a Chinese magnolia we have in the front yard of our NOLA house. I bought it as a stick over 30 years ago and planted it in the front as they explode into flowers of that type and color early in the spring. It was far nicer to look ate out of the dining room window than our neighbor’s car.

The caption said it’s a magnolia but didn’t include “Chinese.” How xenophobic!

An upstart, nonprofessional largely self-funded runs for US President against a deeply entrenched, bucks down and powerful establishment candidate…and wins. He upsets the Blue Meanies’ plans to turn the country into their private estate and, despite their evil machinations designed to unseat him, not only beats them but creates a blowout economy that breaks economic records.
Looking at high approval numbers, a booming economy and the US once again regaining the respect of our friends and fear from our enemies the upstart sails unscathed through the political minefields his enemies lay and is looking at reelection. The sky is clear and the sun is shining.
Suddenly, and from out of nowhere, a killer virus emerges in China and within a suspiciously short time explodes in the US. The virus spreads through the country with lightning speed, causing states to shut down completely, causing social unrest, economic chaos that threatens to destroy the gains made plus and gives fuel to the upstart’s enemies. People die in droves due to the states’ inabilities to have plans in effect for a major biological event, something that was supposed to have been accomplished after the post-911 anthrax as well as the later SARS, MERS and ebola scares.
If you wrote this up and sent it to a publisher they’d get a rejection slip back before the ink on the draft was dry, “too far fetched and unbelievable” it would say. We’re not living history, we’re living science fiction.

Don’t forget that the state department decided to send people who they knew had been exposed to ChiComVid-19 on the Plague Princess home via an airplane full of unexposed passengers. It’s almost like they wanted to make this go viral (pun only 50% intended.)
Surely the people tasked with putting their countrymen’s well being first would do that on purpose, right?
There’s the conspiracy angle there for the book.

Mornin’ everyone. Another day of quarantine over. I went to the store yesterday and got………………ta da…………..eggs. Usually when the cashier checks you out, she always asks if you got everything you came for. I asked her why she didn’t ask me that. She said she has quit asking. I told her I didn’t and asked her if she knew what it was that I couldn’t get. Of course, she said toilet paper. LOL The store was still stocked, although not as full as usual. There were people shopping, but it wasn’t crowded. My neighbor told me his wife works there and that people who wear masks will walk up to her, lower the mask and ask a question. He is very worried about her catching the virus. Although, he said he had had it and she didn’t catch it from him, so maybe she will be all right.

Oh geez. Talking the meals down to all a question kind of negates the point of the mask.

Good afternoon, Aus! My neighbor reminded me that businesses can still order facial tissue and toilet paper from their suppliers and have it delivered to home addresses. She has a home business and ordered from a supplier that delivered both necessities to her residence.

Hello All!
I know it has been ages since I have posted – life has been a bit busy shall we say 😉
Hope you are all well!
Below is something I think is very important, but being ignored:
It is very interesting Dr. Fauci has never mentioned the below information from The American Academy of Ophthalmology. It seems like he wants the infections to continue doesn’t it? That may sound far-fetched, but I cannot forget him making fun of wearing a mask because people did not sneeze more than 6 feet (but of course the droplets float in the air more than 6 feet, then you walk through them). Varied articles seem befuddled by community spread, but none mention this information given to me by my eye specialist. Fauci is either a lousy doctor, or he has an agenda in ignoring this important information.
Please help stop the spread of this & any other illness, not only for your own sake, but so there are fewer reasons to continue a shutdown, & any push by democrats for voter fraud from ballot harvesting/vote by mail/phone in the November elections by following this advice taken from that article from The American Academy of Ophthalmology:
“Coronavirus Eye Safety

Experts say guarding your eyes — as well as your hands and mouth — can slow the spread of coronavirus. Here’s why it’s important to protect your eyes during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, and five ways you can help yourself and others.
Coronavirus can spread through the eyes
When a sick person coughs or talks, virus particles can spray from their mouth or nose into another person’s face. You’re most likely to inhale these droplets through your mouth or nose, but they can also enter through your eyes.
You can also become infected by touching something that has the virus on it — like a table or doorknob — and then touching your eyes.
It’s important to know that the virus can spread by touching fluid from an infected person’s eyes, or from objects that carry the fluid.
Wearing glasses may add a layer of protection.
Corrective lenses or sunglasses can shield your eyes from infected respiratory droplets. But they don’t provide 100% security. The virus can still reach your eyes from the exposed sides, tops and bottoms of your glasses. If you’re caring for a sick patient or potentially exposed person, safety goggles may offer a stronger defense.
Avoid rubbing your eyes.
We all do it. While it can be hard to break this natural habit, doing so will lower your risk of infection. If you feel an urge to itch or rub your eye or even to adjust your glasses, use a tissue instead of your fingers. Dry eyes can lead to more rubbing, so consider adding moisturizing drops to your eye routine. If you must touch your eyes for any reason — even to administer eye medicine — wash your hands first with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Then wash them again afterwards.
Avoid touching your face — particularly your eyes, nose, and mouth.”
Take care,
Wishing you all the very best 🙂

We couldn’t find any eyecoverings when this first started. We even went to Lowes and the hardware store. So I found some “onion glasses” on Amazon. 2 pair for $8! I ordered a pair and they are perfect. Fit snugly, and soft on your skin. I bet they work great for onions as well.

I remember 30 or so years ago a doctor saying that one way you caught a cold was by touching your eyes or nose. It seems Fauci/Birx would have known this. Surprised they didn’t mention it.

Hello dear lady!
I was concerned seeing most elderly people wearing masks to protect themselves, but no eye covering. They (we/I) especially need to be protected, and did not know they should be covering their eyes, so I’m trying to get the word out.
Yes we are doing well. Not much difference to me except less traffic, and I get to food shop earlier with less crowding. It’s suburban/rural where I am, and people are reasonable. I do worry about the economy and unemployment consequences for many people though.
How are you? I am confident both you and Czar are doing well, however is your work & travel curtailed so you and your beloved Czar are in the house – together – ALL the time – with All your furbabies? (wink wink) 😉
Luckily I am used to my DH being home in his own separate office most of the day.
all my best to you both 🙂

The WHO, in league with China, did all it could to refute any coverage that the virus could be transferred human-to-human, it wasn’t until 22 January that WHO and China reversed their joint opinion on transmission. That was plenty of time for it to spread across the globe and thru the US. Trump imposed travel restrictions a week after the WHO finally admitted what even the WHO’s coronavirus specialists knew, that the virus WAS passed person-to-person.
Whistleblowers in China (some of whom seem to have fallen off the radar) and in the WHO have been talking about China’s pressuring the WHO since the virus started to become public, though the US media had little interest in reporting it. Even now a WHO researcher is going public with her story on how she knew the virus was passed person-to-person but the WHO ignored her research in favor of toeing China’s ideological line.

“though the US media had little interest in reporting it” – Yes, and Fauci also. Why would a prudent doctor, responsible for the safety of an entire country, NOT tell people to cover their eyes as well as nose and mouth since that is how viruses are known to spread? If he did not know how this particular virus was spread (even though it has the same structure of genetic material strand surrounded by protein), he should have told people the most prudent thing to do, especially since he wanted to “flatten the curve”. It is my personal opinion he wants to Lengthen the curve to keep this going as long as possible, whether for his own power trip or for political reasons. Considering his emotional & deeply held political affiliations, and non-daily briefing comments on TV, I believe it is mainly political, with a big dose of ego added in.
It would be astounding to make a list of all the personal, government, corporate, and politician money and power grabs that came from this virus being mis-handled so badly by the medical officials and press. It would also be dis-heartening to think of if any of that power will be given up, or will it be used again for much more minimal excuses. We have crossed a line I am afraid to say, & it makes me both sad for how easily many have willingly given their freedoms away, but relieved I do not have children or grandchildren to live with the consequences of this one catastrophic event.
A good side effect of this perhaps may actually turn out to be the illegal restrictions on going to church on Easter. Perhaps because people were denied it, they paid more attention to the greatest event and act of love in history – that which gives us eternal hope beyond this temporary life.

That last paragraph sounded not right.
It is illegal and horrid beyond belief that liquor stores and planned parenthood are open, but not churches.
Someone said on a NH website That perhaps we should have had Easter services in the NH State Liquor Store parking lots since they were open, but not churches! (In NH hard liquor is only sold at state run liquor stores).
I was just trying to say sometimes people pay more attention to something once they lose it.

I never doubted the virus’s ability to enter through the eyes as many viruses that enter through the airways can enter through the eyes, all 3 hospitals that my wife’s working have provided eye protection since they started making staff go full protection. Fauci isa immunologist and should know that until proven otherwise the virus could enter thru the eyes as well as the nose. Using the ‘best practices’ he should have been strongly
warning that until proven otherwise that the virus could be contracted through the lungs. There were lots of folks here that dropped the ball, question is: ‘why?”.

As to why?
We know why China did it.
Why those who are working to reduce us back to feudalism and the ignorant useful idiots who follow them: I think after talking with a friend, she knew, but just did not want to say out loud how bad it really is now. She finally said it, then got really quiet and sad saying: “but what can one person do who is working supports/takes care of a family?”
Our side are not followers or “hive/Borg” people. We are more individualistic small business owners, inventors, and risk takers, but there is a problem in continuing this attitude when it comes to pushing back on well organized big government.
It does seem especially over the past 55 years structurally it has been set up that the people who want big government control have the time (welfare) or “jobs” (gov’t, union or ngo) to spend their time “organizing” while most of our side work at least full time (especially business owners). Even so, we have an even greater responsibility to use what free time we have to protect our freedoms. For example, now that Disney World is closed & sports are almost gone, will people finally use that wasted time to protect their freedoms? Here in NH there is a group of about 12 people all over 55 I’d say, and most into retirement age but still working, who have organized themselves into a voter integrity group for NH elections. THAT is the key to the “what can just one person do part-time” question. ORGANIZE INTO ACTION, FACT FINDING, PROBLEM SPECIFIC GROUPS. It’s amazing what can be done. The other thing is start a (state specific) website to report these individual updates (GraniteGrok dot com in NH). It is much more fulfilling to be part of something that actually has an impact on YOUR REAL life than living vicariously through fantasy or another’s ability. This is also a great cure for the sadness and hopelessness many feel.
I originally laughed at Obama being a community organizer. I’m not laughing now. I will learn from my opponent if I can use it ethically to my side’s advantage.
Czar I enjoy your, and all the commentators here at Stella’s.
May God Bless us and the country we love.

A friend just sent this to me…APRIL 15…
On this day in 1955, in the city of Des Plaines, Illinois, a great American institution began. And, like most successful American institutions it made no sense on paper and was started by the illogical. It was a fast food restaurant.
It was not started by some hotshot kid but, rather, by a 55-year-old guy who previously sold blenders for making milkshakes. The year before, on one of his sales trips to California, he noticed a drive-in that was doing more business than any other. He itemized its features: it was clean, service was fast, food was uniform. And the fries…. they were like nobody else’s. That’s when he discovered that they always left on a tiny bit of potato skin in each batch, so that the flavor transferred in the frying.
Knowing that you probably could not start a nationwide chain of “French Fry Joints”, he asked the owners–a certain couple of brothers named McDonald–if he could possibly franchise their fast food hamburger joint.
His name was Ray Kroc and the rest is history.
Luckily, he didn’t have to apply to the SBA.
“Yeah! Sure, Mr. Kroc, just what this country needs, another hamburger joint. How ya gonna make any money? Ain’t-cha got any sense of business?
A native Chicagoan, Ray Kroc left high school after his sophomore year to join the World War One Red Cross Ambulance Corps. The war ended before his unit was sent overseas with Ray returning home to earn a living as a musician and later selling paper cups. In 1939, he became the exclusive distributor of the Multimixer (a milkshake mixing machine). He visited the McDonald brothers in 1954 which led to him becoming their franchise agent. He opened up the first restaurant for McDonald’s System, Inc., a predecessor of McDonald’s Corp. in Des Plaines, Illinois in April, 1955. McDonald’s acquired the rights to the brother’s company in 1961 for $2.7 million.
