Louisiana gov says ‘stay at home order’ should remain in effect at least thru the end of the month while NOLA mayor wants to extend the city shelter order thru at least mid-May. Watch NOLA melt, but then there are certain groups who are not obeying the order and they are spreading the virus in the city.

BTW, the LSU Med Center – you know, the one that found a way to use a mask respirator instead of intubating the patient, the method the Left Coast docs said couldn’t work – is testing a combination drug composed of azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine. Now there are already tests done on that (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/32205204) and another study (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/12/health/chloroquine-coronavirus-trump.html) is being touted as ‘proof’ that the drug is dangerous…though the latter study was cancelled on fears of adverse reactions and not definite adverse reactions.
The LSU study will have the patients monitored closely for heart interactions but the tests done so far are showing a significant reduction in viral loads, Trump’s pushing the drug is being blasted but hydroxychloroquine is showing great promise. I’ll admit that in the beginning I had my doubts too but so far in the dosages it’s being used at it’s proving effective and cardiac problems have been minimal and are outweighed by its effectiveness.
