In Kenner, just west of NO, people have put teddy bears in their windows. When families go out for walks they can make a game looking for them. Other people in town put rainbows in their windows thanking first responders.

Not virus related, but a happy story nonetheless.
Heard this story on the radio recently. This happened about 20 years ago.
A new doctor was completing his rotation in ICU in Colorado. A young man, car accident victim, was brought in near death. His car had been hit and went through a roof; all but this young man died.

The doc cracked open the young man’s chest in the ER and sewed up the aorta.
But the young man was not improving in ICU, and doctors were urging pulling the plug.
The young man’s parents refused and kept insisting the young man’s dog be brought in first.

The hospital finally relented. The young man’s hand was placed on Honey’s head, and the young man moved, ever so slightly.
Honey came in daily and eventually the young man opened his eyes.
Honey and the young man left the hospital together under their own power.

Love is the most powerful force on earth.
