The Trump administration has reportedly asked for 2.5 billion dollars, and Dems in the Senate and House have already criticized saying that isn’t enough.

Well how will the CDC manage to divert funds to other places if they don’t have enough money!? How will they afford to fly planeloads of exposed people to every corner of the country!?
After seeing the absolute “brilliance” of the CDC, throwing money at handling coronavirus won’t help. Firing everyone in the CDC might, but who knows.
In another example of burgeoning intellinge, er, incompetence from the CDC: http://raconteurreport.blogspot.com/2020/02/top-men.html

Another example. It doesn’t have to be a crisis, but when the CDC is done, it will be:
“Per CDC, unless the person of interest is actually direct from Hubei, China, or a healthcare worker exposed to someone proven by laboratory test to have COVID-19, the risk is assumed to be moderate to nothing.
A person from here, and who was infected by someone else here, who could have full-blown Kung Flu any day now, is dictated by this asinine algorithm to present NO INDENTIFIABLE [SIC] RISK(!!). “The Great and Powerful Oz Has Spoken!””

I viewed a segment of the hearings; Sen. Blunt wants oversight to where those funds will be allocated. Dr. Fauci NIH is the only agency head I trust, somewhat. The others seem an extension of the DC political cabal.

The only thing Blunt is interested in is keeping it out of Trump’s hands. 🙄

Well here’s a thought: It’s China’s baby, let China cough up the billions to clean up its mess. Whether it’s from their bio labs, exotic game market just blew in from the boonies it started there, they touched it first. If we need more proof let’s just fill up a few planes with a few hundred selected Congressjerks and send ’em on over for a lookie-see.

I like your idea, but come on. Like China ever takes responsibility for anything.

Actually makes sense when considering that according the the web site set up to track it by Johns Hopkins Uni Hospital of the 80,000 plus cases world wide only 600+ are outisde of mainland China. Yeah, they can pick up the tab since it’s entirely possible they “funded” it to begin with.

China’s good friends in Congress want to fund the cleanup so that China can get back to doing what they both have in common, undermining theUS.,

So the old wives tale is true eh? If you dig deep enough you’ll reach China, but you have start to in D.C.
