On AOC’s latest pronouncement:

Poor Nancy. President Trump is picking on her! /s

If you have wondered if Politifact is a fake fact checker, here is another example:

Mary is right. This “control our bodies” rant is old, tired, and wrong. What we want is for women to control their own bodies before they become pregnant, and then kill their children.

Thank you, Mr. President.

Apparently there was a Democrat “debate” last night. Here’s a comment on one of the candidates:

Love to see the President’s team on the offense in these early primaries. Never take anything for granted!

Chris Matthews? Socialism? Interesting. He will probably be forced to make an apology in the next couple of days.

Read this story first thing this morning. He was 91, and lived a long and productive life. He was also Andrew Breitbart’s father-in-law.

Biden received one himself from Barack Obama. What exactly did he do to deserve it?

This is fun.

Donald Trump will always be in the history books as our 45th President. These two?

Hillary Clinton said she’s open to being a VP candidate this year. I can’t imagine who would take her up on it.

Hmmmmmmm.

If I were this guy, I think I would shut up and fade into the sunset. But I’m not like James Comey.

God almighty, I hope not!

Scary looking, I’d say. What is going on?

Too bad most Democrats don’t see the lack of common sense here.

Scratching my head.

Kinda weird, but cute!

Charlie’s prayer.

Have a great day!

So much news this week. Pelosi is falling apart. AOC is lying to her peeps. Amazing. Hillery is one step closer to being the nominee.

I am glad Vindmann is no longer in the WH, however he is not “out”. He should be fired or sent to the Antarctic, or someplace similar. Another who needs to go is his boss Esper (or Espry or whatever his name is). I saw his statement saying he was just moving Vindmann to another job. He said he stands behind the military. 😦 I understand he has defied Pres. Trump before, too.

Just unbelievable (actually not) that no WH people were invited on the news shows.

Cute little animal and strawberry. :DS

R.I.P. Orson Bean. He was quite a character.

The theater address he was going to is 703 Venice Boulevard which is a major thoroughfare going from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean in Venice. It is well lighted but on a Friday night it can be crowded. Bean also might have jaywalked as people do it all the time in that area which is multi-use with a lot of small businesses, homes and apartments. But more likely he was crossing at the crosswalk.

Here’s a link to Google maps showing the four lane boulevard with center divider. It doesn’t look as though there is a stop light nearby…you can see there’s a yellow/black pedestrian sign on the right

As for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and her take on the “bootstraps” phrase…well, of course, it’s an impossibility! And, of course, no one does everything by himself with no one to assist him…from birth until the day of death. Frankly, I’ve always thought it was a dumb thing to say in the first place.

But I also believe taking advantage of every opportunity offered to fulfill yourself is the way to succeed. There have been millions of people across the world and down through the ages who have done so. And America provides the best of opportunities and assistance in learning HOW to take advantage of what is offered.

I’ve looked up the quote before and its origin is obscure. Most anything you find on the Internet will have a disparaging word about conservatives thinking a person can do it all by himself…like ANY conservative believes that.

As you know, boot straps are the thick loops on the top sides of working boots, not fancy boots. The hoops can be used when sitting down or standing up in assisting a person to get his boots on in a hurry. So the phrase has to do with taking the hoops of your life (gifts/talents) and pulling yourself out of whatever is keeping you down and out by using your opportunities.

AOC is a downer and not an uplifter. She can’t think critically. Let’s hope she’s loses re-election in 2020 and is replaced by someone who CAN think and has done his homework plus district rounds to assure the citizens understand what’s at stake. AOC’s brand of socialism is what’s an impossibility to pull them up and out of their negative situations. She’s an elitist who can’t lead anyone in the right way or help anyone succeed.

No one from the White House invited on any Sunday Shows.

    What little b*tches.

The MSM is far too late to the party. This is a temper tantrum not a new policy. The likes of Don Lemon still believe that they best every POTUS supporter that brightens their pathetic show.

Re Vindman, Oh, brother, I just read an article which contained these LIES from his lawyer:

A statement from his attorney, David Pressman, says that Vindman was “escorted out of the White House where he has dutifully served his country and his President.”

“There is no question in the mind of any American why this man’s job is over, why this country has one less soldier serving it at the White House,” Pressman said in the statement. “LTC Vindman was asked to leave for telling the truth. His honor, his commitment to right, frightened the powerful.”
