Stella's Place 
I like the way they’re using active military bases to warehouse potential coronavirus victims. A perfect answer to the NIMBY complaint, put ’em co-located with military who’ve been fighting two wars for coming up on 20 years now. As for Lackland AFB that’s the Air Force’s only basic training base, you put coronavirus quarantinees in with the feedstock of the AF and risk infecting them before they even know where the restrooms are.

Do they have orders to shoot anyone that tries to escape?

Probably not. But they likely can subdue them. And if the person is sick, s/he won’t be much trouble to keep down.

If only, but I do believe their standard is to just prevent any escapes, there’s no way they’d authorize deadly force.

Mornin’ everyone. That was some storm that came through last night. My rain gauge says we got only 3/4″ of rain, but I always figure that it is actually more because of where I have to put the rain gauge. It was seriously windy and then a T-storm came through with the rain. I caught a little of the local news and there were some damages from the wind.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Aus, you got what went over us the night before. We only had 7/10ths but is came in three big thunder & windstorms. They had hail as well in New Orleans.

Great. It cooled off a little outside, about 64*, but is breezy and nice. I had the shock of buying a new pair of glasses yesterday, but figured out this morning how to pay for them. So, it’s a good day. 🙂 How are you doing? 🙂

Ran errands, saw a pt. at the local hospital, went for my exercise walk with the old girl, Daisy. Looking forward to dinner.

Oh, I do have news. I have lost 5 lbs since the beginning of Dec. I quit having a glass or two of wine before bed. 🙄 That is all I have done. Obviously i needed to do that.

Thanks, stella. We missed it this morning; he starts at 8 am Alaska time and that’s just too early for me. I’d rather hear him than read him; is there any free podcast available? He used to be on Youtube, but no longer (that I’ve been able to find). I should just fork over the cash for Rush 24/7, I guess.

Biden was only running to be the lynchpin of impeachment. Without him being “Trump’s political opponent” they didn’t have a case.

That could explain some things. I can’t imagine his wife letting him expose himself the way he has unless there was a good reason. And, maybe that is another reason Obama wouldn’t support him, because that drew attention to his administration’s malfeasance.

I truly believe that Biden is only running to keep out of reach of an investigation into his family’s deep corruption in Ukraine, China, Romania, possibly more. And the establishment Dims are only supporting him in the race to keep the searchlight off of Obama. I don’t think the linchpin argument works, because at the time of the phone call, Biden had not yet declared his candidacy.

Wait. If Biden had not declared his candidicy at the time of the call, then then entire impeachment point that Trump was trying to interfere in the election by getting help from a foreign power re an opponent DOES NOT HOLD WATER!

No, wait. I’m wrong. Had to go look it up. He officially declared on April 25th, 2019. The phone call was in July. I wonder if it was kept under wraps for a while, I remember him seeming to take forever to declare.
