Several mountain towns along U.S. 2, including Skykomish, were isolated for days after snow dumped on them for days.

With all of the potential news going on out there local Fox station wasted time this morning telling us how amazed the world was that the Masked Singer was…Lil Wayne! Coronavirus, future of the country riding on machinations of a group of DC Leftist-lites, China, India…Lil Wayne.

There are times the Fox network’s priorities trouble me. True they have to advertise their programs but do they have to describe it as news?

Coincept depictions of the AF’s new B-21 stealth bomber are out, it looks a lot like the B-2…but then if you’ve got a good and working design why change it? It’s supposed to replace the B-52 fleet entirely and a good chunk of the B-1 force but will it?

The AF plans oin buying 100 – to start -but the question I have is what a Democratic Congress/Administration will do with those plans? The expense will be huge and the Rat’s planned social programs will cut deeply into those bomber buys. Watch for the Rats to start diminuating the B-21 plan by saying how it will be obsolete before it leaves the ground – just like how the killed the B-70.

I was bummed there were no Clydesdales from Budweiser. Always my faves.

I liked the Bill Murray commercial, and the self-parking car. What companies they are is lost. Jason Momoa one was creepy, and the advertizer was also forgotten. Organic beer? Really??? Liked the Wal-Mart commecials b/c of the sci-fi movie references. And, yeah, who were most of those celebrities?

I saw the new version of Little Women today. It was very good on the period costumes and scenery. I had a problem with the way the movie was filmed because it bounced back and forth from one time period to another. I had trouble following that. So did my friend who was not familiar with the story.
The acting was very good, but the rushing around in every scene was a little overwhelming. I thought the actors in a few of the roles were poorly chosen. One, who was a good enough actress played Amy (I get the names mixed up sometimes) and she was supposed to be 12 at the start. She looked older and had a deep voice which didn’t fit (even though her low voice was actually very nice) and her age didn’t seem to change even though she was grown later. Also, the actor playing Laurie looked like a little kid. I gave it about a 5 out of 10.

I read the books sooo many times when I was a preteen, but I have totally forgotten what happened. Except the family was alone while dad fought in the Civil War, then he returned.

It has been a long time since I read the book, but I have watched every movie made of it, I believe. I think each of them was good in its own way. I love the story and all the characters in it. I guess I will have to go back and read the book to find out if Marmee said anything like “I am ashamed of this country”. I don’t remember anything like that.

You know, now that I read your comment again, I think they actually downplayed that in the movie. It was kinda like “Oh, yeah, he’s off at war.”

That reminds me of something when I was a kid and I wanted to be Mrs. So and so and was told I couldn’t because I had a baby and couldn’t do that without a husband. This was pre me knowing anything about the facts of life. So I said I would be married and my husband was off at war. LOL
