Senate impeachment trial of President Trump, Day 10, 1:00 pm

Today’s agenda to include debate and closing arguments. Republicans and Democrats are expected to debate for approximately four hours about whether to call witnesses, then vote on further motions to include witnesses. If the result of that vote is to NOT include witnesses, there will possibly be a vote for removal or acquittal.

In case you saw the AP story that Dershowitz had “quit” the President’s defense team:

Dershowitz right now on Newsmax: No I did not quit. I LIVE in Florida and flew home while not needed to work on the Constitutional arguments against Roberts being used to break a tie-vote in the Senate Trial.

Philbin is doing an awesome job of arguing the law. I find him fascinating, he makes me lean in closer as if I will absorb more of what he is saying if I move a little closer.

Congressman Andy Biggs – Posted: Jan 31, 2020 1:31 PM

If one scene in the impeachment trial has typified the motives, delusion, and nefarious intent of the hucksters trying to remove President Trump, it was when Chairman Jerry Nadler scurried to beat Lead Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff to the microphone to have the last word while Schiff looked dyspeptic, calling out to Nadler, “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry….”

That was hilarious. Too bad he had to be with his wife today, maybe he could have had repeat performances today, as stupid and obnoxious as he is, he’s an improvement over Schiff.
I can’t listen or look at that man.

I wish this crap would just end already, there is nothing more that can be argued, nothing more than can be said that hasn’t already been argued and said.
