Good morning, aus! Another day without snow and it’s 36 degrees. I’ve got reams of old papers to sort and dispose of. Wish I knew a teacher who’d want all the historical data.
Have a great day!

Lovely winter scenes, Lucille. I know the first one is a drawing and not a photo, but that sled with people looks way too big for one horse to be pulling, even if it’s a Clydesdale or a Belgian (which it doesn’t appear to be), and especially up hills. The second one looks like a great dog mushing trail.
We finally warmed up overnight. After two weeks at or below zero, we awoke to +20 and snow falling this morning. ‘Sposed to continue all day; glad I have nowhere to go!

Someones’s fanciful depiction of a sleigh ride, perhaps done by a person living in non-snow country. Have a fine rest of your day.

Love watching these planes. To you knowledgeable folk, re the deck refueling door, does it seem that using a crewman to pull out the hose and drag it over to the plane is just a tad behind the times for a brand new state-of-the-art ship? Made me laugh.

It was very interesting to see the sea life at the various depths portrayed as it was, especially interesting to see the depths to which mammals could dive.

Pretty good take. The article does fail to note that the Supreme Narcissist Couple aided and abetted ME-ghan in her “escape.” BHO hates the British because…well, you know, Kenya! More than likely he was happy to encourage this dissing of the Royals with the charge of racism, and has smiled throughout this whole episode. And, of course, MO despises the very thought of non-left whites and probably doesn’t much care for the lefties, but has to at least pretend to.
The other thing not brought out much is the revelation of quite a few folks that she was on the prowl for a rich British male in the days before someone set her up with Harry. She simply lucked out on a damaged prince.
Revenge is sweet only for so long and then a person has to be on to another act of retaliation, then another. Unless Harry fights for his son to be able to know his extended family, the Royals can expect to never see Archie again.
One another thing then I’ll never comment on this pair again, Markle’s family is a strange one and individuals therein have done themselves no good by succumbing to the siren call of media publicity. However, her father, Thomas, is no deadbeat. He was a noted television cinematographer, quite respected and awarded. He saw that she got a good education and through him was able to make connections which landed her in acting circles.
We humans are often fools when it comes to our emotions and fortunately most don’t make major mistakes which land us on the front pages of magazines. I actually do hope the couple can straighten out their lives without damaging others too much. As President Trump said, the Queen doesn’t deserve this.
It would be very nice if the couple receded into the background where their faces would never be seen peeking out from the newsstands again. Nice but highly unlikely.

Good Monday to you all, Stellar friends. Here are a couple of good articles I meant to link here a couple of days ago and didn’t get done.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/01/what_do_democrats_fear_in_donald_trump_greatness.html
This made me want to stand up and cheer. It felt so affirming to see in print what I’ve felt for a long time.
And this one, Why New World Slavery Was Inevitable:

Written more academically than colloquially, but interesting analysis.
