    All 3 dogs are just sleeping, they jes ain’t atakin’ this here New Years stuff seriously.

      I underestimated the lure of the pond on an old black lab. He stays wet to the belly half the time. Right now he and the other dog are resting, after trying to find some deer in the field. No luck, deer appear to be having a holiday. Dogs haven’t had sense enough.

        I have a 50# pile of corn next to the sged, about 100′ from the house – deer browse on it regularly. Dogs can’t seem to find a deer – I really don’t think they want to.

        The only times the dogs will get into the laker is when we’re with them but the border collie will take a muddy ditch with or without company…muddy ditches rule!

    I look at the photos of the doggies dressed up, and then pose the rhetorical question:

    Is it any wonder that they bite their owners when provoked?
