Documents reportedly leaked from the Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s office show complex money transfers from foreign sources into former President Obama’s Vice President and Secretary of State’s families –

I was brought on to handle the Mueller investigation and I am still dealing with the possible crimes committed by the investigators.__Rudy Giuliani

Giuliani is not loose with his words. Not when it comes to their legal use. I’ve watched him give many tortured answers to questions, when the question was worded incorrectly and Giuliani had to correct the words in order to answer it properly.

So Giuliani who we can safely assume does not want a defamation suit states matter of factly that Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and the Bidens committed crimes.

Rudy Giuliani even warned the Coup Crew that the Ukraine Deal was a trap….but still most of them parade naked through the middle of the street pretending they are clothed in finery.

And President Trump stated bluntly that both Comey and McCabe were guilty of Treason.

The Epstein murder has been ridiculed now by every corner, it’s moved from a major crime at government level to a ‘Jimmy Hoffa’/’Judge Crater’ situation. It’s becoming a joke and not a crime, the seriousness of it is being replaced by humor, it’s not a murder,it’s becoming a cultural joke.

We also have the holiday season and Superbowl coming up so unless someone catches full tape of the murder being committed by Hillary and selected members of the Congressional Pedophiles Caucus we’re going to have the murder drown in over 3 months of PAR-TAY. Gonna be tough to reinflate the issue especially with the media machine and comics starting their runup to the summer conventions. With the investigation soundly in the hands of the FBI I don’t see much movement in the direction of truth.

Not much of a chance that there is going to be a finding of a guilty party in the Epstein case.

So the process is sort of lost before it starts. My opinion is that the Clintons would like the world to be silent about Epstein as Bill is so closely tied to him.

Epstein’s death will never be properly investigated or solved so keeping in the publics mind that he did not kill himself is a good thing even if it is part of the theater production.

The FBI’s been a ‘black hole of last resort’ for decades. Then again it’s no different from any police force. We’ve had prisoners in the Parish Prison get beaten senseless at regular intervals and some killed…oopsies. We had one case where we had a guy obviously beaten to death while in police custody, people in office buildings saw the police beating him as he was dragged away from his arrest site.

The state/parish autopsy basically upheld the city’s allegation that he ‘fell down stairs’ though the police station he died in only had one floor. Another private autopsy be a retired Federal LEA pathologist found numerous inflicted injuries including a heelprint in the perp’s forehead that was so forcefully done the logo of the heel’s maker could be clearly read – over a week after he died. Nothing happened.

It’s easy to get someone iced in a jail/prison, you just put them into genpop and start a rumor. They end up damaged to whatever degree, an investigation’s done and when the interest dies so does the investigation.

We knew that Epstein was going to die in jail, it was a running gag well before it became a fact. Get used to it, we know know what LEA has known for a long time: you want some bothersome problem taken care of you send him to jail and ‘poof’.

Also being from Chicago, I understand the prison to the tomb tune. I could tell stories from my cop friends that would be very familiar to you, just a different cast of characters.

I can’t imagine what you have seen and experienced.

The use of jail/prison as a disposal mechanism runs from local to Federal. Thing is the Feds can also bury you forever in a hole in their system. For states like California they can bury you in their own supermax or stuff you into one of their gang-run prisons where you’re dead about an hour after someone decides you need to be. It’s how things are run.

US mortality rate in 2015 in the general population was about 190 per 100,000. US prison death rate is about 264 per 100,000.

Problem is the the methodology for determining true prison/jail death rates differ as the topic’s a hot potato.

California reorganized its huge prison system a few years back, sending more inmates to local jails instead of state facilities. Problem there is the sheriffs aren’t equipped to deal with these more nastier bad guys and their jail/prison death rate has shot up thru the roof.

You’ve got the perfect killing machine in a jail/prison, all ya gotta do is toss your problem in and wait for the lights to go out – literally and figuratively.

Morning y’all. Little chilly yesterday, but it’s warming back up. 36 degrees right now, and up to 51 today. Looks like very good temps for the next week too. I’m loving it.

Have any of you ordered from Crate & Barrel? I know Stella has, she told me about getting dishes there, and they have such good reviews from the experts and customers that I ordered some. You can’t buy a set, just sets of 8 of items like plates, bowls, cups, and also all are sold individually.

Strange thing is, they are shipping my order a few items at a time, and not even shipping the sets of 8 things together. So far they have sent me three shipping notices with a few things on each, order not nearly complete. I’ve never seen that one before, and I’m going to have to keep a tally I guess. I’ll also go back and be sure they aren’t charging me more for shipping, but I doubt they would do that. I could understand backorders, but not seperating sets of 8.

I have had that happen with Macy’s too. They ship from store stock wherever it exists, I think. I didn’t have that happen with Crate & Barrel, although I think I originally got my dishes at the store rather than mail order. I ordered some additional plates via mail order. You are right to keep a tally!

What dishes did you order? I have the Maison dishes, except I have cups and saucers rather than mugs (like the ones sold with their Aspen collection). I have both the deep bowls (which I use all the time) and the wide shallow bowls. I have a set of six, because I never have large groups for dinner (and no room to store them). I think I would order the Aspen today, because they are so much less expensive. I’m not sure they had them when I originally bought my dishes.

I ordered the Aspen dishes. Mostly quantities of 12, although fewer salad plates because not everyone eats a salad among my bunch. And I just got the mugs instead of the set with a saucer because we never use the saucers. What I don’t remember now is seeing dessert plates. I guess I can use salad plates, and maybe I’ll even need to order more on that thought.

I read a review, I think in the NYT, comparing them to several other top sellers in white dishes. They were what I was leaning toward and that clinched the deal. My only concern is replacement, because I know the kids will break a lot of them.

Also, I can sass things up a bit by occasionally using other colorful pieces if I want to.

When we moved and I bought new dishes, they were discontinuing the pattern, and Linens n Things sent me items from whatever stock existed in various stores. I’d get 2 plates and a cup from one store, 5 bowls and two cups from another, etc. They didn’t charge me any shipping for those, and they were marked down, too!

And now for the REST of the story.

We each have distinctive likes/dislikes for dish patterns. Might I add that these preferences are not generally compatible. It took us 30 years to finally find a pattern we could agree on for everyday use. Prior to that it was a mishmash of stuff with her mother’s china for special occasions.

We haunted every outlet of the stores that sold this pattern, we knew it was on the out and we bought every piece in 3 parishes – really. Unfortunately over the next 10 years normal attrition has worn down the dishes to what would pass as a refugee’s dining ensemble. The quest begins again…

I am like you, I bought extra. Doubt if I bought enough to account for 8 grandkids and life, but I have to limit spending somewhere. Anyhow, I hope that I bought a set of dishes that will be active awhile due to their popularity and quality.

I really don’t know anything about dishes and what you can always get replacements for, so I thought about sticking with the Phaltzgraf line, which seems to always have replacements for all their patterns. I wanted a plain white dish, and they didn’t have that, at least not without a raised white pattern around the edges.

We’re gettin’ a team here. Ours were/are a heavy weight, light tan and with a light speckle – that was the compromise. They’re heavy too, though not heavy enough to stand up to the GE dishcrusher over time, and they are full-sized so that you can pile food onto them.
I have a personal favorite plate I found while haunting a thrift store for saucers for the cats. It’s white, 12″ and has a shallow bowl that goes almost from rim to rim. I can imagine at some point in the past its previous farmer-owner just piling food into it…

We took him to a pumpkin patch with his siblings a month or so ago and it was a great time. As expected, he wanted many more pumpkins than we could buy, but he settled and had a great time.

      The birds on the wind are honking goodbye;
I watch them in silence and heave a big sigh,

In Gaza, on November 11, having endured many attacks on its civilians by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Israel struck at the terror group with pinpoint accuracy, firing a missile at a particular room on the third floor of a residential building, which turned out to be the very bedroom of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander in northern Gaza, Baha Abu al-Ata, killing only him and his wife. Confirming his death, a PIJ spokesman said he was just about to undertake “a heroic jihadist action.”
