    That’s been the House’s plan since Day One. The House members can go back to their constituents and say they did their duty in protecting the People from a Russian plot, a redneck racist conservative, a climate change apostate…all dem good thangs. The House knows the Senate will not convict and the Left can use that in the 2020 elections to try and get red Senators in purple areas unseated.

    It’s all part of the ongoing coup plan that’s been in motion since Trump was elected.

    All of this is just noise to my friends-in-low-places.

    All I need do is prove to them the Socialist democrats are taking away their guns, their employer-based healthcare, their medicaid, their gas-field jobs, their meat, their barbecues, their cars, and their pickups.

    I prove the Socialists will allow unlimited immigration, and we will pay for the illegal’s healthcare.
    I prove the Socialists will be raising their taxes.
    Usually they never hear the entire list. Instant Deplorables.

    Gowdy need not worry. Impeachment or no, the Socialist democrats will face the wrath of their constituents.

    I’m not sure what Gowdy is saying here. The House can’t just punt it over to the Senate. There is a proper order involved. Once the House fulfills their obligation of investigation and a passing vote, then the paperwork goes to the Senate where they are obligated to have a trial.

    IMO, the House wants to string this out at least through the end of the year to harass and weaken President Trump and his administration. Then the Senate will take it on and Nancy’s minions will have time to lie to their constituents so they will be re-elected.
