     e have two ginger cats with totally different personalities. Fat Thing generally stays aloof, with the exception of breakfast, when it’s light. When he comes t bed at night and can’t be seen he pesters the @#$%& out of you to be patted. If he hasn’t been patted enough he pats you until you feeds his needs.

     On the other hand Outside Mickey will sit on the hoods of the cars or truck or the chest freezer in the garage and swipe at you with one claw extended, snagging your sleeve until you pet him. Both could use therapy.

         Actually, we don’t own cats, they reside here. And there are 4 of them. We only intended to get the grey one, two of the others showed up at the door and moved in, and one belonged to the GGS but came to live here when they switched houses. Yes, maybe we need therapy, but we are happy without it, and they provide endless hours of topics of conversation.

         We own, or are owned by – a difference sans distinction – four cats actually. The other two have functional mental problems.

       Meh, could be anything – matted fur, heat rash, allergies – we had one long haired cat in West TX that we shaved every summer simply because he’d get too hot.

       We had one that could OPEN the door when I was little……he also used to drop down off the cinderblock fence and “ride” the German Shepherd next door.
