Beautiful water lilies…some religions consider them to be a symbol of enlightenment and purity. To me they are reminders of how much God loves beauty…

My garden harvest this afternoon. Some critter got one of my ripe paste tomatoes and a couple of cherry tomatoes. Oh well, share the wealth!

PLUS, my parsley plants on the front porch were infested with caterpillars, which had eaten most of the leaves, leaving a bunch of stalks. I removed the caterpillars and am hoping for the best! Will check all of the plants with black light tonight.

We’ve had a lot of 90 degree days, but not that much rain! Now we are in the high 80’s.

We are at 74, those were high cloud tops that lowered the temps markedly. Temps dropped so fast that we have fog on the lake from the evaporation being condensed by the cold air.

The yellow and orange tomatoes are my favorites. I like more acid in my tomatoes and these are a good balance.

Ag guy told me to sprinkle baking soda around my tomato roots as the tomatoes ripen to lower their acidity. Golden varieties are my fav ‘out of hand’ eaters.

I’ve found tomatoes like this. I reckoned they were just very ripe, and we ate them anyway. They were delicious!
The only thing that puts me off is critters of some sort!

Yup, been there, ate that. Happened alot in our home grown tomatoes, seen it in store bought peppers, too. Would not eat a mango or avocado that looked like those!!!
