The controversial Chief of Staff for the equally controversial Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is leaving her office, supposedly to work on development of the Green New Deal. Also leaving is her Communications Director, Corbin Trent, who will be working on her reelection campaign.
My personal opinion? Chakrabarti has been too much of a negative from a public relations perspective because of his known admiration for Subhas Chandra Bose, who met and allied with Adolph Hitler and Heinrich Himmler in 1942, and later with Imperial Japan. For further info, see my earlier post, AOC’s Chief of Staff admires Indian leader who allied with the Nazis?
Keep an eye on who is selected for his replacement. I don’t believe AOC can do her job without a minder to tell her what to do and say.
For more about how Ocasio-Cortez came to Congress, read about the much wider plans to put super progressives in Congress by a group called the Justice Democrats. Their slogan is #OURTIME, It’s time to usher in a new generation of diverse working class leaders into the Democratic Party. A Democratic Party that fights for its voters, not just corporate donors.

Anytime any politician says s/he’s going to do anything ‘for’ the people you watch out, then again you should watch ALL politicians ALL of the time.

Oh, yes. “Corporate donors” are voters. The words “not just” says the Democrats will continue “fighting” for corporate donors, including corporate donors who also vote.
Sounds like a good slogan for any Democrat.
Dumocrats are too stupid to figure it out.

Not sorry to see him go. Her communications director, Corbin Trent, apparently left as well.

He isn’t gone, merely moving to a new fighting position. I’m wondering if they’re looking for a replacement for AOC as she’s too vocal, they need to get more moles-in-sheep’s-clothing into the Congress and she ain’t it.

I read a rumor a couple days ago that one of Kamala Harris’s previous campaign persons will be taking over as AOC’s new Chief of Staff. That would make sense in light of the Harris/AOC partnership on the new “Climate Equity Act”, but again, just a rumor.

Not to disagree with your opinion, Stella, with which i also agree, but think bigger.
This guy is about power. He wants power, and AOC is too small for him. Once acquiring a taste of power, he wants more.
So he goes to a think tank, where once again all his wants and needs are supplied by others, and he acquires the fix for his addiction – more power, with Other People’s Money.
Look for Commie Guy to move on to bigger and better in a year or two. AOC will fail, her kind always do. But not Commie Guy. He will move on silently, behind the scenes, acquiring more and more power, closer and closer to his biggest high ever.
