    The sky reminds me of splat art…so, Stellars, I wish you a…Happy Splat Art Tuesday…

    Search out those splat artworks from your childhood or the sons, daughters, grandchildren’s grand entries into the art world, frame them and set up an entry at your local art fair. Might be a whole new path to fame and fortune.

    Retired PD friend found a way to reduce the wait time at fast food restaurants and hospital ERs, he bought an ‘ICE’ hat and wears it when he goes in. Only problem is that about half the fast food staff leaves too.

      One of my sons was married to a Guatemalan woman whose family was high in the Guat government, his wedding in Guatemala had more armed guards than a bank transfer. The government members were left as left could be, I remember the political discussions at the dining table being heavily colored with talk about how mucho they hated el Presidente Booosh and Gringo poleetical policeees een Latin America,

      One family member who was a Guatemalan ambassador to a European country was particularly vocal. My reminding them that they all lived in walled compounds to separate them from their own people, whose yearly income amounted to what I could find in couch chane in a US coffee shop, didn’t help the conversation. Neither did my reminding them of their requesting that evil Gringo help in campaigns to eliminate their native Indian population from lands the elites wanted.

      Leftists attract Leftists and both countries have Leftists at both ends of the economic spectrum. Once they’re done with us they’ll turn on each other to see who gets all of the goodies.

    I was a little hesitant to get my dna done, but since my son was going to do it anyway, I decided to go ahead, since most of my concern was for him. Anyway, I got the results back yesterday. I am not diverse. I am not vibrant. I am totally Caucasian. 95% from Britain, Wales, NW Europe with a teeny tiny bit from Norway and Germ. Europe. I was a little disappointed because my great great grandmother was supposedly American Indian, Cherokee. Evidently not.

    My friend and I went to see the movie Stuber yesterday. Not my choice. We were a minute or two late and there was a large cop chase, shooting, etc. that seemed to go on forever. I knew at that point it wasn’t my kind of movie. But, she kept saying it was a comedy. 🙄 It went downhill from there. Their idea of comedy was to do outrageous, and stupid things and say the f-word over and over along with others. Their idea of funny. Bad acting, bad directing, bad scene setups, ridiculous situations, etc. She got totally fed up with the language and we were out of there in 25 min. I would have left earlier, but I left it up to her.

    Something you all should know, is that most theaters will give you a ticket to see another movie if you leave before that half way point. They never argue.

    Well, you guys, with all of this rain and heat, my tomato plants are out of control! I’ve only harvested one ripe orange tomato that weighted 7 ounces, and I got two tomato sandwiches out of it. Harvested jalapeno peppers today, which I will use in a vegetable, chicken and rice salad. LOTS of peppers and tomatoes on the plants, but not ready to harvest yet. I searched for horn worms last night with black light, and got four, which I squished. Gross! Pictures:


    The worm picture isn’t from my yard, but it looks the same.

    My “Tiny Tim” cherry tomato plants, which were supposed to be 18″ at the most, are about 3′ tall and growing! Trying to stake after the fact with so-so results. Lots of fruit developing, though.

    I planted seeds from a grocery store bell pepper, and have healthy plants with lots of fruit. Will be interesting to see if they are the same as the pepper they came from.

    All of this in containers on my patio, driveway and patio table.

    Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
