President Donald Trump has arrived in Portsmouth with the Queen to pay tribute to the heroes of D-Day – 75 years on. The US President stepped off Marine One this morning with wife Melania ahead of a huge day of remembrance with other leaders from around the world. He will attend a special ceremony with the Queen, Prime Minister Theresa May, and world leaders from across Europe…

    I remember when DH was in The Royal Navy. They would have a dockside celebration every time a ship would come home! Always good fun and food with a military band for entertainment! Sometimes a flyover, but just a good loving atmosphere. Military families tend to stick together over there, as they do here.
