President Trump on Tuesday, in a press conference with outgoing U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, blasted his British left-wing critics as a “negative force” — and confirmed that he snubbed the leader of the opposition Labour Party when he sought a sit-down.
“I don’t know Jeremy Corbyn, never met him, never spoke to him — he wanted to meet today or tomorrow and I decided I would not do that,” Trump told reporters at the London press conference.
“I think that he is, from where I come from, somewhat of a negative force. I think people should look to do things correctly as opposed to criticize. I really don’t like critics as much as I like and respect people who get things done,” he said…
May was similarly critical of the left-wing detractors. While noting differences with the Americans on issues such as Iran and the Paris climate deal, she highlighted the importance of the special relationship between the two countries to British citizens at home and abroad and to the British economy as a whole.
“That is a relationship that we should cherish, it is a relationship we should build on and should be proud of,” she said.

Ah yes, that ‘special relationship’ again. They bring that up quite often, like a small child holding on to it’s parent’s hand, begging reassurance that Mum will not leave it alone as the go through the spooky fun house.
There’s that Brit sticking point that when the US won the Revolutionary War it threw the Brit government out of the Colonies BUT the Crown never signed over the independence of the US, as it did other colones, so technically (to the Brits and a few geeks living in their Mums’ basements) we’re still subject to British rule. So next time the bully starts picking on the we can let them stew and see if the issue self-resolves.
Yes, a special relationship indeed. How many other former colonies has England tried to destabilize and retake twice after we kicked them out and how many who are not obliged to the Commonwealth have saved England…twice?

Watched this live. It is obvious Pres Trump has a positive effect on PM May. PM May seemed especially upbeat, to me anyway. No doubt b/c she was assured Pres Trump will take good care of her country after she’s gone.
Love how John Roberts is always called on, and usually first, b/c Roberts is Fox, methinks. But I think it is spectacular that CBS and then CN&N kicks Roberts out, and here the old guy is, looking handsome and dapper as ever, being the favorite of the President of the United States. And showing all the dumb Fake News journalists up every time
How cool is that?
Did Sarah Huckabee not look spectacular in that dress today? Very flattering.
And after witnessing the behavior of Khan and London, the slur Ugly American may now be put to rest. Londoners have NO class, and certainly no manners.
The British will learn to appreciate us all over again next time they are in trouble, which will be sooner rather later. imo

Indeed, it is a relationship without which your rotten little island would essentially sink into a sea of its own progressive idiocy. Better suck up hard, Brits. We do not really need you, and god knows that accent makes normal people sick.
