This morning’s Twitter hits …

So Facebook says that they are even handed and doing their best to make theirs a safe platform? A recent quote from Mark Zuckerberg:

“Privacy gives people the freedom to be themselves and connect more naturally, which is why we build social networks.”

Interesting article with a history of Zuckerberg statements from The Ringer. From his early years:

Long before Big Brother jokes, in 2004, the then-20-year-old Zuckerberg called users “dumb f**ks” for handing over information—like email addresses, physical addresses, and photos—to the network. Over the years, it’s become all too apparent that privacy is not Facebook’s first priority; in fact, these leaked internal conversations only reinforce users’ fears.

Yeah, James Comey continues his delusional pronouncements. I don’t know if he really believes what he says or that we believe them.

I agree with this guy:

I just have one comment about this:

Go Attorney General Barr!

And …. yet another public call for President Trump to be assassinated:

Then she tried to walk it back with help from Bill Maher:

When are these people going to be punished for breaking the law?

This breaks my heart, and I feel very sad and afraid for our country.

And some good news …

Have a great day, everybody!

Zuckerberg is such a liar. Certainly not someone I want to turn over all my private info to.

Lebowitz should review the video of her shvartz gets Obama not only bowed to the Saudi prince but continued the decades long policy of kowtowing to them.

As for Facebook bunch of us told ya long before the twerp was outed that he was stealing info, his access to it coupled with fool’s desire to ‘share’ underlain by the false sense of security shouted it. Then there was that period when Myspace (remember that?) was the thing and LEA, intel and skip tracers were using it to find those who’d otherwise hid successfully using conventional means. When Facebook came along the top just blew off of it, if the various Fed agencies didn’t have a cozy dealt with Z then they found a way ‘in’.

Z was raking in way too much cash for just ad revenues to cover, the tremendous access he and his programmers had to personal info, info worth millions and millions to marketers, was far too tempting to sit on, it’s like growing potatoes in a gold mine. He mined the gold – duh.

I think that regardless of Z’s philanderings his loyal drone customers will stay with him, their needs to say “Hey world, here I am!” and seek recognition will prevail. He’ll make apologies and perform an act of public ablution, the public’s memory of his betrayal will wane as their denial waxes and it’s back to business. Even if Z leaves the helm and goes back to rolling in his billions full time the theft of personal info will continue, it has to as that’s the reason for it all.

Even though I quit FB ten years ago, they probably still have my info somewhere in their humongous exploitation “files” for all who pay them to see.
