Doug Collins (R-GA) blames Democrats for AG Barr’s absence

And he’s correct. Nadler wants to make the Judiciary Committee hearing look like an Impeachment hearing. It’s a political stunt.

I can’t blame Bill Barr. He has no obligation to answer questions put to him by unelected individuals – lawyers and/or staff.

Started listening to this this a.m., but after less than 2 minutes of Nadler turned it off. Should have stayed to hear Doug Collins. Thanks for the clip Stella.

Watch Nadler at 1:30 where Collins says “…they (Democrats) want it (the hearing) to look like an impeachment hearing…”
Nadler involuntarily nods his head yes. Nadler stays motionless during the rest of the clip.

Watch the staffer behind Collins, to Collins’ left, right side of the screen. That staffer is really into Collins’ speech.

Doug Collins has turned out to be a bright spot amongst dullards. Bob Goodlatte leaving might be the best thing that has happened to this committee. Wonder if that staffer was a former Goodlatte staffer?

Collins is exactly right re the Demleftists wanting to impeach our President without the usual impeachment proceedings. Insulting and berating AG Barr is part of the process. They think this is a winning tactic!!!

Hey, Mazie Hirono! Who Do You Work For?
    By Shari Goodman – May 2, 2019

Wednesday, instead of questioning Attorney General Barr at the Senate Judiciary Hearing, you ran a ten minute monologue slandering a public servant who has served this country for four decades because you are unhappy with the Mueller Report.

Barr stuns Sen. Blumenthal during Judiciary Committee hearing
    By Thomas Lifson – May 2, 2019

Attorney General William Barr is unflappable, a quality that enabled him to deftly handle the “pack of Iagos” that Democrats on the Senate Judiciary formed into yesterday.

That was priceless, was it not?
Not certain if Iago is the appropriate moniker, but that reply af AG Barr’s to Danang Dick was worth suffering through the odious Blumenthal’s feeble attempt at eliciting perjury.
Mr Lifson is a great writer. imo

By ‘staffers’ I have no doubt the Rats mean a pack of lawyers who’ve been paid to spend a lot of time Newspeaking the report. If there is no proof the Rats will resort to the same tactic so many prosecutors resort to in high-profile cases, they’ll make some. Conjecture becomes factish. Innuendo becomes factish. Wishful thinking becomes evidenceish. With some screenwriter skils it all becomes truthish and truthish becomes the facts and evidence when no facts and evidence exists.

I keep on thinking of the high-profile cases in New Orleans where evidence was suppressed that could have exonerated a defendant, where emotions were whipped to a froth to make sketchy evidence palatable to a jury hungry for a conviction…any conviction…in cases where, years later, the convictions were overturned when proof positive that would have exonerated the convictee was ignored or suppressed.

Someone once said that a great prosecutor could indict a ham sandwich, it appears you can convict one too.
