Dong Dang Station, Hanoi, Vietnam: The second summit between North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Trump begins with the leaders’ arrivals in Hanoi, Vietnam. Kim is arriving to the country by train and will be greeted in a welcome ceremony.

These poor people have been waiting so far for L’il Rocket Man at least one hour fifteen minutes and counting.
Sure hope this guy is worth it.

Little turd shoulda taken Amtrak, he’d either still be in Pyongyang waiting for the train or by sprawled out in the wreckage somewhere along the tracks. Or get over his problems with flying…some dictator.

I heard that his own plane is an old beat up Russian number, and not very safe. To get to Singapore for the first summit, he borrowed a plane from China.

And it ain’t no hi-speed modern train either, it’s slower than Amtrak, our freight trains move faster.

How’s he arriving by train? Kim’s on Chinese tracks and Chinese and North Korean tracks are standard gauge while, unless they’ve been changed, Vietnam’s are old French colonial gauge. Kim was supposed to take his train to the border where he’d be driven by car to Hanoi.

Opps, appears the VN have a standard gauge track now from Hanoi to the Chinese border though most of the rest of the country is narrow gauge. I know they were trying to build a hi-speed line south to Saigon but that fell through for lack of $$$.
