Last one then I’m going to bed.

Yesterday, net door, there was a post on Trump’s folks finding bugs in the wall when they redid the Green Room in the White House. They went on and on about the bugs but I posited that the issue wasn’t totally ‘who’ put them there but ‘how’ they were put there.

You think about it, the Uniformed Division of the Secret Service has 24/7 responsibility for protecting the White House. They also have responsibility for protecting the President – he has his own assigned SS detail but the WH has a dedicated UD that is his first line of defense when he’s there. They also make sure that no one is allowed in to do work who might pose a threat by implanting something so, I’m told, workers doing repairs in the WH are supervised the whole time they bare there.

Here’s my point: who got the SS UD to stand down – or be party top – planting bugs in the WH? We’re hearing about the ones in the Green Room, and I’m sure Trump had the rest of the WH (AF One also?) swept but we’re not hearing about that…yet. Certainly there are various government agencies, and military for that matter, who could bug the WH but NONE OF THEM has the authority to tell the SS to stand down in the WH. Did someone get the SSUD out of the way, tell them to not interfere with the installation (and it wasn’t a five minute in-and-out job) or were the SSUD part of this? How high does this go and will anyone drill deep, find out those responsible and file charges? Let’s face it, if persons/agencies can circumvent SS protection to illegally bug the President who’s to say they couldn’t go one step farther and Grassy Knoll him?

Hi Czar, I finally got over there to read some it.

A lot of facts (known to the public) mixed in with jumps of speculation.

The video that the post leads up to is non climatic as to what the post suggests in my opinion.

This is what is purported as the smoking gun?

[…] But few rooms have changed so much so fast as his dining room, where he often eats his lunch amid stacks of newspapers and briefing sheets. A few weeks back, the President ordered a gutting of the room. “We found gold behind the walls, which I always knew. Renovations are grand,” he says, boasting that contractors from the General Services Administration resurfaced the walls and redid the moldings in two days. “Remember how hard they worked? They wanted to make me happy.”

This was speculated about over a year ago. That the gold was physical evidence of hard wiretapping in the Green Room.

Where you see correlation I see more of the BBQ pit that was Dorian Johnson speculation.

President Trump is a contractor, a builder, finding gold behind the wall could just mean good bones.

I’m not saying that the WH wasn’t wired, but the post doesn’t weigh the scales for me with any new information.

There’s a possibility that they found bugs as Trump is also a player and might be holding that back until a more opportune time, afterall why should he drop the other shoe when he still can’t be sure who’s to trust?

The various agencies of the government have been ‘bugging’ the embassies of other governments for years – and they ours. The NSA has been vacuuming up the phone conversations of foreign dignitaries for years and every now and then it backfires as it did just a few years back. And then we have the FBI not only seriously approaching the cabinet members to see who’d support a coup but also having a ‘trusted’ member of the government wear a wire to try and get information to support a coup.

The CIA also has a long memory and remembers Carter’s attempt to destroy and rebuild it. We’ve seen their possible involvement in the soft coup along with the other agencies so the most powerful agencies in the government appear to have mud on their shoes.

Ignore the seemingly ‘it happened’ tone to my post and take Trump’s ‘gold in the walls’ and Johnson’s ‘speculation’ aside. Finding bugs is not all that far-fetched in light of what we’ve seen and is well within the abilities of the various agencies we’ve seen that have already shown animus toward Trump. I’m just waiting to see where Trump’s team is going with what it already has on its plate…when are the going to move?

I agree with everything you said Czar.

President Trump always tips his hand while simultaneously holding his cards in his vest pocket.

It’s just, the original post, my opinion or your opinion, isn’t anything new.

It has been speculated about for quite some time, with good reason. That is why I asked if there was something more than speculation and the short answer is no. We don’t know the specifics we are all just speculating in the same direction.

So it would not be a surprise to any of us (you less than anyone else because of your personal experiences and knowledge of the unpinning of our government) who understand the underbelly of the beast, if there were bugs in the walls.

SD’s post was a reiteration of things we know with some things that didn’t tie anything new together in an objective logical manner.

That was why I asked if the original post was one of speculation or fact finding. Or at least that is what I intended to ask.

So even with “if it happened” and “gold in the walls” aside the original post didn’t further along anything of important content in my opinion.

Government officials, former and present, spying on a sitting president is darn interesting and I imagine when the chips fall a lot of political icons both democrat and republican are going to be justly impaled.

              Good.

Each President has had recording devices in the WH to capture his uttering for posterity. In the cases of LBJ and Nixon it didn’t quite work out like they’d hoped.

It’s to the point where I really don’t trust the (not ‘my’) government as I’ve seen the same scurvy behaviors I suffered through at a lower level now being made manifest at the national level.

There’s just too much of a criminal environment at top levels from, in our times, things like the Gulf of Tonkin incident to Watergate to the Clinton kleptocracy thru the Obama revolution-lite. I’m seeing the same behaviors here and like that overused iceberg comparison, much of it still lies below our vision but that portion that’s visible tells there’s more there.

So, President Trump found the bugs after he moved into the WH. Wouldn’t that mean Obama ordered the SS detail out of the offices for a while for some workmen to do the job? His SS detail were possibly approved by him (what is policy on assignment? Can the President pick and choose his SS agents) and were died-in-the-wool lefties happy to do as he asked.

At any rate, the SS–whether part of the actual dirty deed or not–knows what happened.

I’m not sure if he could order the UD to not be in the room when workers were there, the UD is in the WH 24/7 and I’m sure they maintain a log of activities and would have mentioned workers being there and their being ordered to not be in the room while they are there – CYA/liability. The POTUS is a resident, not the owner.

I’m sort of (wearing a tinfoil hat style) looking the the DHS who owns the SS ordering either the installation and/or ordering the UD folks to stand-down. There was a DHS person who had the authority and had close and very deep connections with both the Clintons and Obama.

California Judge Orders State to Pay $399K to Pro-life Pregnancy Centers

The state of California has been ordered to pay $399,000 to three crisis pregnancy centers and a politically-conservative law firm after the Supreme Court struck down a law intended to force crisis pregnancy centers to promote abortion.

The Supreme Court ruled in June that the California law requiring crisis pregnancy centers to display information on how to obtain a state-funded abortion was unconstitutional. In October, a federal district court issued a permanent injunction against the law known as the California Freedom, Accountability, Comprehensive Care, and Transparency (FACT) Act.

On Monday, U.S. District Court Judge Terry Hatter for the Central District of California ordered that California must pay the Pregnancy and Family Resource Center of San Bernardino, His Nesting Place of Long Beach, Birth Choice of the Desert in La Quinta, and the Liberty Counsel a total of $399,000 in legal fees and other costs.

    The Strangest Victory

President Donald Trump called on European countries to take back captured Islamic State fighters late Saturday as U.S.-backed forces in Syria closed in on the extremist group’s final sliver of territory. “The United States is asking Britain, France, Germany and other European allies to take back over 800 ISIS fighters that we captured in Syria and put them on trial,” Trump said on Twitter. “The caliphate is ready to fall.”

The impending fall of the Islamic State is modern history’s most curious victory. There will be no parades nor widespread mention of who defeated them. It all seems an embarrassment. The most problematic aspect of the Last Days of the Caliphate is what to do with Western ISIS fighters if repatriated. Germany’s foreign minister Heiko Maas “noted that trials would be ‘extremely difficult to realize’ largely due to the absence of ‘judicial information.’ … even before Trump’s tweets, Britain staunchly rejected the idea of going into Syrian or Iraqi prisons or refugee camps in search of U.K. citizens who voluntarily left to join ISIS.”

It’s as if the Kurds and Americans would do the world a favor by making the problem simply go away. Putting them on trial would be inconvenient since many of the “ISIS brides” and fighters were radicalized in the West. Inquiring into how this happened might conceivably put multiculturalism itself on trial. It is a curious fact that the per capita number of ISIS recruits by country is far higher in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK than in the intolerant USA. What could account for that? …

Everyone wants to change the subject. Yet Hoda Muthana, who made propaganda videos for ISIS, is implictly threatening to raise them in her defense. Joe Walsh notes that press now routinely describes the ISIS member as an “Alabama mother” indicating she will soon use domestic contextualization as the explanation for her actions. Now “the lawyer for Hoda Muthana, the U.S. woman who fled Islamic State and now wants to return home, has called for her to be a voice of a deradicalization program that dissuades others from joining the terror group and counters online manipulation.” But at least Muthana is willing to face justice, probably calculating that she will receive a lenient sentence. More lenient at least than that suffered by ISIS victims…

By the way, I read last night (can’t remember where) that Ms Muthana is NOT a U.S. citizen.

    Global Warming fraud:

The Greatest Scandal In the History of Science

    https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2019/02/the-greatest-scandal-in-the-history-of-science.php

I have written many times about the unwarranted “adjustments” to measured past temperatures by government agencies, which serve to inflate the modest warming that has occurred in recent decades. Organizations around the world (NOAA and NASA-GISS here in the U.S.) have done this over and over, usually surreptitiously. The Manhattan Contrarian shares my opinion that this misrepresentation of the historical record is the worst scandal in the history of science. The most recent instance comes from Australia:

For those new to this topic, the Greatest Scientific Fraud Of All Time is the systematic downward adjustment of early-year temperatures in order to create a fake enhanced warming trend, the better to bamboozle voters and politicians to go along with extreme measures to try to avert the impending “climate crisis.” …

I don’t think there is any mystery about why employees of government agencies around the world systematically alter historical records–amazingly enough, always in the same direction. But the Contrarian draws a parallel that I think is apt:

And finally: over the years as I have accumulated posts on this topic, several commenters have suggested that I must be alleging some kind of conspiracy among government climate scientists in making these adjustments. I mean, without that, how does it come about that the Australians just happen to be making the exact same kinds of adjustments as NASA, NOAA, and for that matter, as the Brits at the Hadley Center in the UK?

If your brain is wondering how that could be, I would suggest that we have the same kind of phenomenon going on here as the hate crime hoax phenomenon. How does Jussie Smollett just happen to fake a hate crime playing right into the progressive narrative of the moment — just as did the Duke lacrosse team hoaxer, and the Virginia fraternity hoaxer, and the Harvard Law School black tape hoaxers, and many dozens of others? (Here is a compilation of some 15 recent hate crime hoaxes.) Did they all coordinate in one grand conspiracy? Or did they all just realize what was needed from them to support their “team” and its narrative?

There is a great deal of narrative supporting going on these days.

Lots of good stuff here – data, charts etc.

Oklahoma GOP politicians are idiots, we’ve had them vote making the Ribeye the steak of Oklahoma, voting to give teachers $1200 raise, after they just gave them a raise, we have them debating a bill today to give $5 million in a secret fund to give to corporations to build a business here.

Can’t bring the bill to the committee or the floor on abolishing abortion though and thanks to Oklahoma Southern Baptist leaders giving them cover they won’t do so.

I knew we’d have democrats and the abortion lobby fighting tooth and nail against it, but I never dreamed we’d have the National Right to Life and their Oklahoma affiliate, Baptists and Catholics fighting tooth and nail against it.

The Senator stopping it from getting a vote, who now has his buddies in Southern Baptist leadership backing him, says he wants to move the football one yard at a time, not a hail Mary pass, obviously he doesn’t understand football either.

I pray Southern Baptist Churches and their members inform their leadership they do not speak for them. Oklahoma Catholics upset me as well, but they don’t have the same force behind them as the largest denomination in Oklahoma does.

They seem to be trying to make this a world where women can never be questioned, and never have to take any responsibility for their own actions.

About twenty five years ago we were teaching three boys that there are consequences when you unzip your britches, be it to pee illegally on a fence or something more consequential. I especially went to some trouble to try to impress on them that although I one hundred percent agreed with their daddy that all girls and women were to be treated and ladies with courtesy and respect, not all of them were trustworthy and that they should be very, very cautious and suspicious. A hard determination for a young man to make.

It seems now that things are just so much worse. Not all boys are saints, but there are those who seek to mandate that all girls are to be above question or reproach. I disagree.

If the Southern Baptist Convention won’t fight for the fundamental right to life because their taking a stand is just too inconvenient and not tactically sound in the political world, then it makes a person wonder what else are they giving in on. The Trinity; the virgin birth; Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins; that Jesus Christ is, indeed, God? Yeah, the things the Bible teaches.

      2 Timothy 4:3-4

“Judicial Watch Sues for ‘Coup’ Documents” – Posted February 19, 2019

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for all records of communication of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the Office of the Attorney General Jeff Sessions, or the Office of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein discussing the 25th Amendment or presidential fitness. Additionally, the lawsuit seeks all recordings made by any official in the Office of the Attorney General or Deputy Attorney General of meetings in the Executive Office of the President or Vice President.

The suit was filed after the Justice Department failed to respond to three separate FOIA requests dated September 21, 2018 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00388)). The lawsuit seeks all written and audio/visual records of any FBI/DOJ discussions regarding the 25th Amendment and plans to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office.
