    I have my GGS for the weekend and on the way here he was talking about how he might join the Coast Guard as they have real-time LEA programs that would help him be a police officer. I can see his looking at that though I wish he’d have seriously considered joining the military.

    10 beautiful things about today 🙂 !

    1) I have several plants that have survived for over a year in my care this is a personal record for me 🙂 !

    A lady who has a biannual plant sale gave me this little plant for free. She just plucked two pieces off of her huge plant (they did have a little roots) and told me to stick them in soil and that they would grow. She was right. They are probably 4 times bigger than when she gave them to me. I keep them in an east facing window and keep turning them as they try to face the sun 🙂 .

    2) Speaking of facing the sun.

    His voice always makes my heart weep a little.

    And that piano. (Wooly, please check in Piano Man ❤️🙏🏼 You are missed 😦 ).

      Seems odd, lovely, that more do not see Pelosi’s true purpose.

      You see, the election of Donald J. Trump, and by association Michael Pence, is illegitimate, by virtue of being elected by Putin.
      Therefore, by virtue of being next in line of succession, Pelosi is the legitimate President.
      Pelosi is even setting up her own executive branch within Congress.
      Why do you think no Democrat is opposing anything Pelosi is doing?

        Pelosi does not have that option. President Trump continues to operate from a position of strength. Pelosi is too addled and prideful to see that she is between a rock and a hard place and that her extremism is terrific for President Trump.

          But I still think that is how she sees it. The hubris of the Democrats will be their own undoing. imo None of them see that Pres Trump has set them up for a grand fall.

    A little joke:

    Jack, a handsome man, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm. He sat down at the bar next to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and stared up at the TV as the 10 o’clock news came on.
    The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building, preparing to jump. Alexandria looked at Jack and said, “Do you think he’ll jump?” Jack said, “You know what, I bet he will.” Alexandria replied, “Well, I bet he won’t.” Jack placed $30 on the bar and said, “You’re on!”
    Just as she placed her money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death. She was very upset and handed her $30 to Jack, saying, “Fair’s fair… Here’s your money.” Jack replied, “I can’t take your money. I saw this earlier on the 5 o’clock news and knew he would jump.”

    Saw this come across my newsfeed.

    This is probably going to be long, and it is going to be graphic. I told myself just to keep my mouth shut. I know the media tries to keep us stirred up like a school of frenzied piranha. I have read all the comments, the name calling, and different articles from several different news networks and papers, plus I looked up the legislation.
    What kind of world do I live in? It makes my heart hurt.
    I am a nurse. I deal with life and death regularly. I have stated my opinion of “just because we can keep a body alive, should we?” Quite often. I believe in treating people with dignity. And after they have passed, I treat those patients with as much respect and dignity as when they were alive. I believe life is sacred.
    I have been called horrible because I believe in the death penalty and that there should be a fast track to the chair. I believe that prisoners should be forced to work to provide for themselves. They should grow their own food and there should be work details. We should have the prettiest roadsides and city streets. “What? Oh my gosh Lynnette, that is mean. They are humans. They have rights. “Really? I say they lost their rights to freedom and to live life to it’s fullest outside of prison walls, when they disregarded the law and broke the rules.”
    Speaking of walls, oh yes, the wall. I’m called ignorant and immoral because I believe our borders should be patrolled. That laws and rules in place should be followed and illegals shipped back to their countries, and that illegals should not get government benefits of any type. If I, as a born citizen of our country have to pay for my schooling and my children’s schooling. Then by damned someone who is breaking the law should have to pay for their’s also. Build the wall.
    Now let’s talk about the animals. I love my animals. Our pets are important parts of our family. I am bombarded on a daily basis with pictures of abused and neglected animals. Asked to help save them. How it is inhumane to mistreat them. That they have to have someone to protect them. And I won’t even start on PETA. That I must be hard hearted to eat Bessie the cow or Porky the pig and heaven forbid, Bambi the deer.
    But people are celebrating the deaths of unborn humans. I read a comment/interaction between two women. One asked how it is alright to abort a baby a baby at 36weeks but not ok to kill a baby after it’s born? Please explain the difference. Woman 2 answered; Idiot the baby born at 36 weeks is alive.
    Hmmmmmmm……..I carried 4 children and I considered them alive inside me. They interacted to voices, they interacted to movement, they moved inside of me, they had a beating heart and a working brain. Human bodies are miraculous.
    I know, I know….late term abortion is so that a mother whose life is at risk or who is pregnant with a baby with a birth anomaly can do so legally and to protect the physicians (or others authorized to perform, the new law states that it does not have to be a physician), who perform the abortion.
    But people, this is a very slippery slope. Who gets to play God and decide which child is “perfect” enough to be granted life outside the womb? Doctors and tests are sometimes wrong.
    Am i going to judge you if you have one? No, that isn’t my job. Do I agree that abortion is an okay “choice”? Honestly, no. I have held a miscarried infant in my hands. She was in the 1st trimester, and that beautuful baby was fully formed and perfect. I cried and it felt so wrong to put that tiny body in a jar. Call it a cell cluster, call it the fetus. I call it a baby, a tiny human life. Who is going to stand up for those babies? Who is going to say “their lives matter”? Who is going to say it is inhumane to treat an innocent, helpless human that way?
    I think it only fair that I post pictures of those tiny humans who have been aborted. I see your animal pics, your immigrant pics and stories, your death row inmate pics. Tell me that these tiny humans are just cell clusters or not alive. Look at their little fingers and toes and their tortured little bodies and tell me that I’m the mean, immoral, unfeeling monster.

      Excellent! Molyneux is one of those fascinating commentators who can make 48 minutes seem like 20.

      I’m looking forward to discovering just who is going to be sued for the knee-jerk, racist, hateful reaction against these white (and one very maligned black) boys. Who made it under the 48 hour deadline? Anyone know?

        L Lin Wood and Todd McCurty (Sandmann Family attorneys) are methodical. They already expect this case to take years so they are in no hurry to file their case.

        Robert Burns seems o be following in Linn’s footsteps.

        The cases will be very well prepared before we know who is on the list.

        Covington Diocese will necessarily need to be on the list in my opinion because they so quickly and unapologetically defamed the boys for which they, above all, had the moral and legal responsibility of giving the boys the benefit of the doubt or at least a fair shake, or at least shutting their virtue signaling traps until their attorneys watched the complete video.
