    Gil, here are the final 4 paintings for the little guy. One is a redo of a prior post you said he liked with improved colors.

    I could not read the signatures on the 1st two, the 3rd is the William Aylward redo, and the 4th is by NC Wyeth. I hope they bring a smile to the little guy’s face 🙂

    These guys were unbelievably Satanist. Like for real. Laurel Canyon, Charles Manson, John Paul Jones Satanist. Anton Lavey, Aliester Crowley Satanist. They literally worshipped the Devil.

    They were really good in the studio, too. Like The Eagles.

    ELO had backward masking on the beginnings of their albums. Fully available on YouTube. “We give our souls to Satan for the music” sort of talk.

    The funny thing about Satanism is that it wouldn’t exist without Christianity. Totally dependent upon Christ and the Cross.

      How many decibals would the laughter be? Exactly how loud?

      Guess what, Somalis in Minnesota? You’re Somalis. In Minnesota. Not Americans. Your great-great-great grandchildren won’t be Americans, either. They’ll be Somalis, living in America. Just like my great-great-great grandchildren in Japan will be Americans, living in Japan, and never Japanese people.

      That’s high praise.

      I sent my mom a link to what is now my desktop background (a winter pic Stella posted a couple of weeks ago), and she texted that she had to catch her breath when she saw it.

      It’s one of those that need to be matted, put under glass, and framed, and hung on a wall.

      I have a program called Desktop OK. It deletes your mouse in n seconds, then deletes all your desktop icons in n more seconds. All you see is your desktop wallpaper, like a work of art, with no computery stuff cluttering it up. For years mine has been something Stella or one of you have posted. I am thankful for this program, and for your aesthetics.

      When I worked a farm in NH, we had an Elastrator. No cutting. It looked like a gun, only when you pulled the trigger, it greatly widened an elastic band at the end of four levers. When you released the trigger, the whole band shrank to no size, and you could remove the device. Poor cows. In a couple of days, their nuts just drop to the ground.

      Until now, i didn’t realize it was so they could be more meaty.

      I’m not even mad about it. I think it’s a great idea.

      I always thought that the castration was breeding-control. I never knew it made more meat.

        If a bull isn’t kept for breeding, it become a steer, then beef. It only takes one bull to service a whole herd of cows.

        In the old days, at least one calf was killed while still nursing in order to provide the enzyme (rennet) for making cheese. I don’t know, but I think they use artificial enzymes now. ADD: Here’s the answer:

        Limited supplies of calf rennet have prompted genetic engineering of microbial chymosin by cloning calf prochymosin genes into bacteria. Bioengineered chymosin may be involved in the production of up to 70% of cheese products. While the use of bioengineered enzymes spares the lives of calves, it presents ethics issues for those opposed to eating foods prepared with GEMs.

      Eating beef has been around for many thousands of years. If they had cattle, maybe the ancient Sumerians, since they invented so many things. Or maybe the Spaniards when they brought their cattle to the new world…or the Brits on the east coast.

      Perhaps the Chinese since they were the first or among the first to have slave eunuchs who were physically and politically powerful…check out this interesting article…having NOTHING to do with bull balls…
